High-risk human papillomavirus anal infections are common in immunodeficiency virus-infected women. We conducted a cross-over study 30 women seen California virus clinic, to test the feasibility of self-performed Pap smears. Women found tests acceptable and feasible. Abstract We report on the first high-level azithromycin-resistant Neisseria gonorrhoeae isolate (minimum inhibitory concentration, ≥256 μg/mL) in North Carolina isolated from a pharyngeal swab of 33-year-old HIV-negative man who has sex with men.
