経尿道的結石破砕術(以下TUL)中に真菌球が確認された1例を報告する.患者は61歳男性,両側腎結石にて当科紹介.初回のTUL後に残石があったために再手術を行った.その際に腎盂で白色球体が無数に観察され,視野の確保が困難であった.3回目の手術時にも白色球体を多数認めた.培養検査を施行したところC.tropicalisが検出され,真菌球(以下fungus ball)と診断した.結石手術中にfungus ballを認めた報告例は調べ得た範囲では確認できなかった.
