Abstract Harnessing cross‐species regenerative cues to direct human potential is increasingly recognized as an excellent strategy in medicine, particularly for addressing the challenges of impaired wound healing aging populations. The skin mucus Andrias davidianus plays a critical role self‐protection and tissue repair, yet fundamental factors mechanisms involved remain elusive. Here, this work presents evidence that glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) derived from secretion (SAGs) serve potent...

A new axial chiral binaphtoquinone, hypocrellone (1), and a perylenequinone, hypomycin F (2), were isolated from the stromata of Hypocrella bambusae, together with five known compounds, 3–7. The structures 1 2 assigned by spectroscopic HRESIMS data analyses. chirality was determined electronic circular dichroism analysis, absolute configurations 3 X-ray crystallography. 7 UV-induced photooxidation 4. Compounds 1, 4, 5 showed inhibitory activity against pseudotyped SARS-CoV-2 infection in...

Four new dammarane-type triterpenoid saponins, namely notoginsenosides SFt1-SFt4 (1–4) were isolated from the steamed leaves of Panax notoginseng (Burk.) F. H. Chen (Araliaceae), together with 17 known saponins. Their structures established on basis detailed spectroscopic analyses and acidic hydrolysis. The ginsenosides Rk2 Rh3 obtained P. for first time. All these saponins showed no in vitro cytotoxicity against five human cancer cell lines (HL-60, SMMC-7712, A-549, MCF-7, SW480).

Pyrrolizidine alkaloids are the toxic components in Tussilago farfara L. Due to lack of standard substances for quantitative analysis and traces pyrrolizidine total alkaloids, full quality control L has been limited. In this study, we aimed solve difficulty determination identify more alkaloids. An on-line preconcentration method applied improve determining sensitivity which included field-amplified sample stacking sweeping micellar electrokinetic capillary chromatography. The main...

Red deer (Cervus elaphus) blood is widely used as a health product. Mixed culture fermentation improves the flavor and bioavailability of (DB), both DB its enzymatic hydrolysates exhibit anti-fatigue activities in vivo. To elucidate bioactive ingredients, were fractioned into different peptide groups using reversed phase resin chromatography, then evaluated an exhaustive swimming mice model to assess time biochemical parameters. The structures peptides elucidated by high performance liquid...

A new dimeric stilbene, gnetifolin P (1), was isolated from the lianas of Gnetum parvifolium, together with seven known compounds 2–8. The structure compound 1 determined by extensive NMR and HRESIMS data analyses, quantum chemical calculations. All were evaluated for their anti-inflammatory activity. Compounds 6 inhibited expression IL-1β on LPS induced THP-1 cells inhibition rate 35.78 64.67%, respectively, at concentration 25 μg/mL.

Acrivastine is a second-generation H1-receptor antagonist, and its structure sensitive to ultraviolet. Four unknown one reported degradation products can be detected in the ultraviolet radiation solutions of acrivastine. To improve quality control acrivastine, photodegradation impurities were isolated structurally elucidated. There are four new (1-3 5), compound (4). The isolation strategy was designed as preparative high-performance liquid chromatography using reversed phase column with...

Medicinal plants contain bioactive compounds that have therapeutic effects on human health. Ophioglossum vulgatum L. is a representative species of the fern genus has anti-inflammatory properties as recognized in folk medicine. Herein, we performed nitric oxide (NO) assay-guided screening RAW264.7 cells to investigate active components plant. We found ophioglonin (OPN), characteristic homoflavonoid Ophioglossum, one components. Therefore, comparative analysis isolated and OPN similar those...
