Populus simonii, a notable native tree species in northern China, demonstrates impressive resistance to stress, broad adaptability, and exceptional hybridization potential. DOF family is class of specific transcription factors that only exist plants, widely participating plant growth development, also playing an important role abiotic stress response. To date, there have been no reported studies on the gene P. expression levels this different tissues poplar, as well its patterns under cold,...

In plants, non-cell autonomous RNA silencing spreads between cells and over long distances. Recent work has revealed insight on the genetic molecular components essential for cell-to-cell movement of in Arabidopsis. Using a local assay, we report distinct mechanism that may govern short-range (6-10 cell) trafficking virus-induced from epidermal to neighbouring palisade spongy parenchyma Nicotiana benthamiana. This process involves previously unrecognised function RNA-dependent polymerase 6...

Clear cell renal carcinoma (ccRCC) usually affects multiple organs (e.g., bone and brain), patient prognosis is poor. Although it known that CD8+ T infiltration can potentially alleviate ccRCC progression, few studies have concentrated on the correlation between prognosis. In this study, ten genes expressed by infiltrated cells (i.e., AMD1, CCSER2, CIB1, DRAP1, HMGB2, HMGN1, NPIPB5, PTP4A2, RORA , SAP18 ) were suggested as potential prognostic biomarkers, using next-generation sequencing...

High-risk human papillomavirus (hrHPV) infection has been associated with a higher probability of progression to cervical cancer. However, several extensive studies have reported that the presence hrHPV can lead better prognosis, but mechanism how this occurs is unclear. In study, microbiological analysis was used identify HPV as factor for prognosis patients squamous cell carcinoma (CSCC). Comparing interactions + and - malignant cells immune well trajectory either or without HPV, we found...

Virus-induced gene complementation (VIGC), a plant virus technology based on Potato X for transient overexpression of endogenous genes complemented tomato mutants, resulting in non-ripening fruits to ripen. This efficient "gain-of-function" approach involves no stable transformation, and reveals fruit-specific transcriptional network that may exist among key transcription factors modulating ripening. Thus, VIGC represents novel feasible strategy functional analysis plants.

Dwarfism is a desirable trait in eggplant breeding, as it confers higher lodging resistance and allows simplified management harvest. However, few dwarf mutants have been reported, the molecular mechanism underlying dwarfism completely unknown.
