In this paper, the preparation and performance of long, high-efficiency poly(styrene−divinylbenzene) (PS−DVB), 10-μm-i.d. porous layer open tubular (PLOT) capillary columns are described. PLOT capillaries (∼3% RSD column-to-column retention time), with relatively high permeability, were prepared by in-situ polymerization. Relatively loading capacities, ∼100 fmol for angiotensin I ∼50 insulin, obtained a 4.2 m × column. Low detection levels (attomole to sub-attomole) achieved when column was...

Rapid and in situ profiling of lipids using ambient mass spectrometry (AMS) techniques has great potential for clinical diagnosis, biological studies, biomarker discovery. In this study, the online photochemical reaction involving carbon–carbon double bonds was coupled with a surface sampling technique to develop direct tissue-analysis method specificity lipid C═C isomers. This enabled analysis from various tissues or tissue sections, which allowed structural characterization isomers within...

In the range of miniature mass spectrometers, ion trap spectrometer with continuous atmospheric pressure interface (CAPI) shows good performance potential and advantages due to its excellent sensitivity analysis speed. However, in previous cases, placing directly near skimmer aperture means it will suffer high gas shock, which may affect performance. this study, an improved CAPI was developed by flow optimization. According experimental results, excessive affects stability resolution. The...

Port-mirroring techniques are supported by many of today's medium and high-end Ethernet switches. The ubiquity low-cost port mirroring has made it a popular method for collecting packet traces. Despite its wide-spread use little work been reported on the impacts this monitoring upon measured network traffic. In particular, we focus each delay jitter (tinting difference), packet-reordering, packet-loss statistics. We compare port-mirroring with inserting passive TAP (test access point), such...

Lipid imaging plays an important role in the research of some diseases, such as cancers. Unsaturated lipids are often present isomers that can have different functions; however, traditional tandem mass spectrometry (MSI) cannot differentiate between isomers, which presents difficulties for pathological study lipids. Herein, we propose a method MSI C═C double-bond unsaturated based on oxidative reactions coupled with air flow-assisted desorption electrospray ionization, conveniently achieve...

Abstract CsPb X 3 ( = Cl, Br, or I) perovskite thin films can be fabricated by vacuum evaporation (VE) with high reproducibility and good film-forming ability. To design optical devices based on films, precise constants are required. As only a few dielectric properties of perovskites obtained VE have been reported, we comprehensively studied the complex reflective index function CsPbBr films. Spectroscopic ellipsometry combined x-ray diffraction scanning electron microscopy revealed that...

In this paper, by modifying the thioxanthene-benzothiozolium fluorophore, BCy-Cys, a lysosome-targeted near-infrared (NIR) fluorescent probe was synthesized for detection of cysteine (Cys) from homocysteine (Hcy)/glutathione (GSH). As expected, BCy-Cys exhibited high selectivity and sensitivity Cys over Hcy/GSH, with an extremely low limit at 0.31 μM, marked obvious color changes. HRMS conducted to confirm that fluorescence intensity 795 nm significantly enhanced enhancement intramolecular...

The critical micelle concentration of sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate, which is a typical anion surfactant, was respectively determined by surface tension, electrical conductivity, UVVis absorption spectral and synchronous fluorescence methods. Results show that method characterized less sample volume, high sensitivity, accuracy. first the second concentrations were to be 1.48 6.90 mmol/L respectively, are well consistent with those data from traditional tension conductivity methods, thus,...
