Abstract UBE2O, an E2/E3 hybrid ubiquitin-protein ligase, has been implicated in the regulation of adipogenesis, erythroid differentiation, and tumor proliferation. However, its role cancer radioresistance remains completely unknown. Here, we uncover that UBE2O interacts targets Mxi1 for ubiquitination degradation at K46 residue. Furthermore, show genetical or pharmacological blockade impairs progression lung vitro vivo, these effects can be restored by inhibition. Moreover, demonstrate is...

A previous study demonstrated that low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) is associated with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC); however, the causality between them has not been proven due to conflicting research results and interference of confounders. This utilized Mendelian randomization (MR) investigate causal relationship LDL-C HCC identify mediating factors.LDL-C, HCC, coronary artery disease (CAD) genome-wide association (GWAS) data were obtained from a public database. To causality,...

Gut microbiota dysbiosis is a prominent determinant that significantly contributes to the disruption of lipid metabolism. Consequently, it essential occurrence and development non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Nevertheless, connection between diet symbiotic gut in progression NAFLD remains uncertain. The purpose this study was explore role supplementing commensal Bacteroides fragilis (B. fragilis) on metabolism, microbiota, metabolites high-fat (HFD)-fed mice, elucidating impact...

A hemicyanine fluorescent dye was generated by a diamine-catalyzed, DNA-templated, aldol-type condensation from nonfluorescent precursors. Studies of reaction rate and yield as function catalyst structure indicated the diamine operates in concerted mechanism on both components. Our findings expand scope reactions that can be performed DPC demonstrate de novo chemical synthesis labels coupled to biological recognition events homogeneous format with essentially no background.

We constrain the scalar field dark energy model with an inverse power-law potential, i.e., $V(\phi)\propto {\phi}^{-\alpha}$ ($\alpha>0$), from a set of recent cosmological observations by compiling updated sample Hubble parameter measurements including 30 independent data points. Our results show that constraining power $H(z)$ HST prior on $H_0$ is stronger than those SCP Union2 and Union2.1 compilations. A strong gravitational lensing systems also adopted to confine even though are not...

Despite radiotherapy being one of the major treatments for triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC), new molecular targets its treatment are still required due to radioresistance. CDK2 plays a critical role in TNBC. However, mechanism by which promotes TNBC radioresistance remains be clearly elucidated. Inhibin B (INHBB), a heterodimer of common α‐subunit and βB‐subunit, is glycoprotein belonging to the transforming growth factor‐β (TGF‐β) family. In this study, we observed INHBB expression was reduced in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) tissues compared non‐tumor epithelium tissues, associated with lymph node metastasis, stage disease, clinical progress. Positive NPC predicted better prognosis (overall survival, P = 0.038). However, molecular mechanisms have not been addressed NPC. We...
