Bipolar spindle formation is pivotal for accurate segregation of mitotic chromosomes during cell division. A growing body evidence suggests that, in addition to centrosome- and chromatin-based microtubule (MT) nucleation, MT-based MT nucleation plays an important role proper bipolar various eukaryotic organisms. Although a recently discovered Augmin complex appears play central this event, how regulated remains unknown. Here we provide that mammalian polo-like kinase 1 (Plk1) localizes...

Abstract Metastasis is the leading cause of mortality in colorectal cancer (CRC), with liver and lung being most common sites progression. Although early detection metastasis crucial for improving patient outcomes, non-invasive predictive strategies remain limited. Exosomes, a class extracellular vesicles encapsulating cell-derived proteins, DNA, mRNA, miRNA within lipid bilayer, closely reflect molecular characteristics their originating cells exhibit exceptional stability biological...

Approximately 50%-60% of secondary resistance to primary EGFR- tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKI) therapy is caused by acquired p.Thr790Met (T790M) mutation; however, highly fragmented, low-quantity circulating tumor DNA an obstacle for detecting mutations. Therefore, more sensitive mutation detection techniques are required. Here, we report a new mutant enrichment technology, the CRISPR system combined with post-polymerase chain reaction (PCR) cell-free (cfDNA) (CRISPR-CPPC) detect T790M...

Exosomal nucleic acid (exoNA) is a feasible target to improve the sensitivity of EGFR mutation testing in non-small cell lung cancer patients with limited cell-free DNA (cfDNA) mutant copies. However, type and size exoNA related has not been explored extensively. The was evaluated using ddPCR. A total 47 plasma samples tested short-length exoTNA (exosomal RNA) cfDNA.The (76.5%) higher than that cfDNA (64.7%) for detecting mutations NSCLC patients.
