Chlorpyrifos is a pesticide, member of the organophosphate class, widely used in several countries to manage insect pests on many agricultural crops. Currently, chlorpyrifos health risks are being reevaluated due possible adverse effects, especially central nervous system. The aim this study was investigate action pesticide behaviors related anxiety and depression offspring rats exposed during pregnancy. Wistar were treated orally with (0.01, 0.1, 1 10mg/kg/day) gestational days 14-20. Male...
We evaluated Trypanosoma cruzi infection in 397 wild Mepraia gajardoi specimens from five coastal localities northern Chile by detection of minicircle DNA polymerase chain reaction. The capture sites were classified into two ecotopes: a fully ecotope (ecotope 1) and near human dwellings 2). Infection rates varied between 11% 27%. Minicircle hybridization assays showed that T. lineages Tc II VI commonly detected 1 2, respectively. These results are discussed the context insect proximity to...
We evaluated Trypanosoma cruzi infection rates by means of minicircle DNA-based polymerase chain reactions (PCRs) in 70 starved Mepraia gajardoi from northern Chile and 65 M. spinolai central after feeding. Immediately collection the field, 20% were found infected; feeding, 67% uninfected infected. One group seemed to be completely uninfected, but first second feedings, 62% 59% positive, respectively.
Abstract The quantification of the number targets in biological systems is an important parameter to assess suitability surface markers as for drugs, drug delivery and medical imaging. Likewise, quantifying interaction with target terms affinity binding kinetics essential during development. Commonly used approaches quantify membrane antigens on live cells are based manual saturation techniques that labour-intensive, require careful calibration generated signal do not rates. Here, we present...
