Clinical studies found that regular aerobic exercise has analgesic and antianxiety effects; however, the underlying neural mechanisms remain unclear. Multiple have suggested may exert brain-protective effects by promoting release of serotonin, which be a pain modulator. Anterior cingulate cortex (ACC) is key brain area for information processing, receiving dense serotonergic innervation. As result, we hypothesized increase serotonin in ACC, thus improving anxiety behaviors.Integrative...

Chronic hepatitis B (CHB) patients receiving entecavir (ETV) treatment might develop low-level viremia (LLV), which is proven to be associated with worse clinical outcomes, such as risk of drug-related mutations, progression cirrhosis, and even hepatocellular carcinoma. This real-world prospective study evaluated the efficacy safety switching from ETV tenofovir alafenamide fumarate (TAF) in CHB LLV. From August 2020 2023, 351 ETV-experienced LLV were enrolled eight hospitals. Patients either...

Three novel norfriedelanes, A–C (1–3), were isolated from the branches and roots of Malpighia emarginata. Their structures absolute configurations determined by 1D 2D NMR techniques X-ray crystallographic analysis. Norfriedelin A (possessing an α-oxo-β-lactone group) norfriedelin B (with a keto-lactone showed acetylcholinesterase inhibitory effects with IC50 values 10.3 28.7 μM, respectively.

Five new eudesmane-type sesquiterpenoids (aquisinenoids F-J (1-5)) and five known compounds (6-10) were isolated from the agarwood of Aquilaria sinensis. Their structures, including absolute configurations, identified by comprehensive spectroscopic analyses computational methods. Inspired our previous study on same kinds skeletons, we speculated that have anticancer anti-inflammatory activities. The results did not show any activity, but they revealed structure-activity relationships (SAR).

Lightweight engineered cementitious composites (LWECC) are prized for their exceptional tensile performance, durability, and low self-weight. However, the elevated cement usage in ECC results a substantial carbon footprint, thus placing significant ecological pressures. This study employed calcium sulfoaluminate-activated supersulfated (CSA-SSC) to develop ultra-low LWECC. Hot-rolled backup rolls are widely used in steel rolling and usually need to be repaired by arc hardfacing after becoming worn. However, a corrugated-groove defect commonly occurs on the roll surface due uneven hardness distribution layers, affecting proper usage of roll. Accordingly, new swing-arc submerged welding (SA-SAW) process is proposed attempt solve this drawback. The microstructure then investigated experimentally for both SAW SA-SAW layers. It revealed that self-tempering effect...
