Mink is a kind of small and precious fur animal resource. In this study, we employed transcriptomics technology to analyze the gene expression profile mink pectoral muscle tissue, thereby elucidating regulatory mechanisms underlying growth development. Consequently, total 25,954 profiles were acquired throughout development stages at 45, 90, 120 days. Among these profiles, 2607 genes exhibited significant differential (|log2(fold change)| ≥ 2 p_adj < 0.05). GO KEGG enrichment analyses...

Previous investigations of phylogeny in Cervus recovered many clades without whole genomic support. In this study, the genetic diversity and 5 species (21 subspecies/populations from C. unicolor, albirostris, nippon, elaphus eldii) genus were analyzed using reduced-representation genome sequencing. A total 197,543 SNPs identified with an average sequencing depth 16 x. 21 SNP matrices for each subspecies/population 1 matrix individual analysis constructed, respectively. Nucleotide...

The present study prepared 2 types of DNA diagnostic chips based on 16S ribosomal (rDNA) and 18S-28S rDNA, evaluated their values in the detection pathogens intracranial bacterial/fungal infections. A total 14 probes bacteria (Klebsiella pneumonia, Acinetobacter baumannii, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, Haemophilus influenza, Stenotrophomonas maltophilia, Neisseria meningitidis, Enterobacter spp., Enterococcus faecalis, faecium, Listeria monocytogenes, Staphylococcus aureus,...

The complete mitochondria genome of the reindeer, Rangifer tarandus, was determined by accurate polymerase chain reaction. entire is 16,357 bp in length and contains 13 protein-coding genes, 2 rRNA 22 tRNA genes a D-loop region, all which are arranged typical vertebrate manner. overall base composition reindeer's mitochondrial 33.7% A, 23.1% C, 30.1% T 13.2%of G. A termination associated sequence several conserved central block domains were discovered within control region.

Abstract Sika deer are known to prefer oak leaves, which rich in tannins and toxic most mammals; however, the genetic mechanisms underlying their unique ability adapt living jungle still unclear. In identifying mechanism responsible for tolerance of a highly diet, we have made major advancement elucidation genomics sika deer. We generated first high-quality, chromosome-level genome assembly measured correlation between tannin intake RNA expression 15 tissues through 180 experiments....

Background: Ussuri raccoon dog is an important economic animal, which brings considerable benefits to Hebei, China. The high fertility rate of vital for its breeding industry. However, the molecular mechanism prolificacy traits in remains unclear. Therefore, it great importance identify related genes and analyze genetic reproductive traits. Methods: In our study, RNA-seq was performed using ovarian tissues from six dogs during estrus. samples were divided into two groups based on litter size...

In the present study, we cloned, sequenced, and explored structural functional characteristics of major histocompatibility complex (MHC)-DQA gene from mink (Neovison vison) for first time. The full-length sequence DQA was 1147-bp-long, contained a coding region 768-bp, which predicted to encoding 255 amino acid residues. comparison between other MHC-DQA molecules different animal species showed that nucleotide encoded sequences exhibited high similarity with ferret (Mustela pulourius furo)....
