Abstract Nanozymes mimic enzymes and that includes their selectivity. To achieve selectivity, significant inspiration for nanoparticle design can come from the geometric molecular features make selective catalysts. The two central use are control over arrangement of atoms in active site placing down a nanoconfined substrate channel. implementation enzyme‐inspired has already been shown to both improve activity selectivity nanoparticles variety catalytic sensing applications. tuning sites on...
Conductive polymers (CPs) are organic materials that hold great promise for biomedicine. Potential applications include in vitro or implantable electrodes excitable cell recording and stimulation conductive scaffolds support tissue engineering. In this study, we demonstrate the utility of electroactive CP polypyrrole (PPy) containing anionic dopant dodecylbenzenesulfonate (DBS) to differentiate novel clinically relevant human neural stem cells (hNSCs). Electrical PPy(DBS) induced hNSCs...
This in vitro study investigated the effects of incorporating 1%, 3%, and 5% calcium oxalate into 15% hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), with without laser activation, on whitening teeth discolored by mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA). The pulp tissue 80 bovine incisors was removed, an MTA plug placed at 2 mm below cementoenamel junction. After nine months, samples were randomly divided eight groups (n = 10). Groups 1 to 4 treated H2O2 gel containing 0, 1, 3, or oxalate, respectively. same gels...
Outstanding protection of Cu by high-quality boron nitride nanofilm (BNNF) 1-2 atomic layers thick in salt water is observed, while defective BNNF accelerates the reaction toward water. The chemical stability, insulating nature, and impermeability ions through BN hexagons render a great choice for atomic-scale protection.
Stochastic electrochemical measurement has come of age as a powerful analytical tool in corrosion science, electrophysiology, and single-entity electrochemistry. It relies on the fundamental trait that most processes are stochastic discrete nature. single entity probes charge transfer from few or even one electroactive species. In corrosion, measurements capture either average amplitude/frequency many events taking place spontaneously probe transients, signifying localized dissolution. The...
