Abstract Food packaging is of high societal value because it conserves and protects food, makes food transportable conveys information to consumers. It also relevant for marketing, which economic significance. Other types contact articles, such as storage containers, processing equipment filling lines, are important production supply. articles made up one or multiple different materials consist chemicals. However, chemicals transfer from all into and, consequently, taken by humans. Here we...

Antioxidant activity of Australian tea tree (Melaleuca alternifolia) oil (TTO) was determined using two different assays. In the 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl assay, 10 microL/mL crude TTO in methanol had approximately 80% free radical scavenging activity, and hexanal/hexanoic acid 200 exhibited 60% inhibitory against oxidation hexanal to hexanoic over 30 days. These results were equivalent antioxidant activities mM butylated hydroxytoluene both tests at same experimental conditions. This...

Germline stem cell lines possess the abilities of self-renewal and differentiation, have been established from both mouse human ovaries. Here, we a new female germline (FGSC) line post-natal rats by immunomagnetic sorting for Fragilis, which showed normal karyotype, high telomerase activity, consistent gene expression pattern primordial germ cells after 1 year culture. Using an in vitro differentiation system, FGSC could differentiate into oocytes. After liposome-based transfection with...

Abstract Human female germline stem cells (FGSCs) have opened new opportunities for understanding human oogenesis, delaying menopause, treating infertility and providing a strategy preserving fertility. However, the shortage of adult ovaries tissues available impedes their future investigations clinical applications. Here, we established FGSC lines from scarce ovarian cortical that exist in follicular aspirates (faFGSCs), which are produced discarded vitro fertilization centers worldwide....

It has long been believed that most female mammalian species lose the ability to generate oocytes in postnatal ovaries. Recent evidence demonstrated isolation and culture of germline stem cells (FGSCs) from adult mice humans. However, process mechanisms FGSC differentiation vivo following transplantation have not yet studied. Here, we isolated characterized FGSCs a single EGFP-transgenic mouse, traced development behavior transplanted (F-TFs) vivo. Comparisons folliculogenesis between...

Globally, 1.3 billion tons of food is wasted annually, with few uses other than landfilling, anaerobic digestion, or composting. Food waste (FW) repurposing provides an alternative management strategy toward meeting goal 12 the United Nations sustainable development goals.
