Epithelial tumor cells transit to a mesenchymal state in response extracellular cues, process known as epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EMT). The precise nature of these cues has not been fully defined, an important issue given that EMT is early event metastasis. Here, we have found population metastasis-prone mouse lung adenocarcinoma expresses Notch and ligands the ligand Jagged2 promotes Mechanistically, was promote metastasis by increasing expression GATA-binding (Gata) factors,...

Abstract The microRNA-200 (miR-200) family is part of a gene expression signature that predicts poor prognosis in lung cancer patients. In mouse model K-ras/p53-mutant adenocarcinoma, miR-200 levels are suppressed metastasis-prone tumor cells, and forced inhibits growth metastasis, but the target genes drive tumorigenesis have not been fully elucidated. Here, we scanned genome for putative binding sites found them 3′-untranslated region (3′-UTR) 35 amplified human cancer. Mining database...

Spindle and kinetochore-associated protein 1(SKA1), originally identified as a essential for proper chromosome segregation, has been recently linked to multiple malignancies. This study aimed explore the biological, clinical role molecular mechanism of SKA1 in pancreatic carcinogenesis.SKA1 expression was detected 145 ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) specimens by immunohistochemistry. Biological behaviour assays were used determine PDAC progression vitro vivo. Using isobaric tags relative...

Wnt1 inducible signaling pathway protein-1 (WISP1) may play an important role in promoting carcinogenesis. However, the biological function and underlying mechanism of WISP1 pancreatic carcinogenesis still remains enigmatic. In this study, immunochemistry staining showed that protein levels were more significantly upregulated ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) tissues with Tp53 mutation than PDAC wild-type. addition, a significant correlation was observed between increased malignant phenotype...

Cationic polymers readily degradable in response to cellular environment are especially favored as easy-formulating materials pack siRNA into a nanoparticle and release the cargo cytoplasm time. In addition efficiency of cytosomal release, degradation products should best be free safety concerns, typical challenge for cationic polymers. To satisfy two criteria, we report new polymer, polyspermine imine, named PSP-Imine, which is formed by condensing endogenous molecules, spermine glyoxal,...

The EI24 autophagy-associated transmembrane protein is frequently associated with tumor growth and patient survival. In the present study, we found that was downregulated in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) tissues compared adjacent normal cancer cell differentiation. Overexpression of suppressed vitro vivo induced cycle S phase arrest, no impact on caspase-dependent apoptosis. overexpression also resulted reduced c-Myc expression, an oncogene PDAC, accompanied increased LC3B-II...
