Primary mesenchymal tumors of the colon are extremely rare among soft tissue sarcomas. These more aggressive and have poorer prognosis than adenocarcinoma colon. Here, we presented 3 cases primary Their histopathological diagnoses leiomyosarcoma, pleomorphic liposarcoma, desmoplastic small round cell tumor, respectively. The rarity makes it difficult to approach treatment predict these tumors.

Advanced bladder cancer (BC) is associated with an inflammatory nature and poor prognosis Inflammatory biomarkers are potential predictors in BC. We conducted a study to assess the prognostic value of pretreatment neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), platelet-to-lymphocyte (PLR), lymphocyte-to-monocyte (LMR) advanced cancer.A total 226-patients muscle-invasive BC (MIBC) were included. Overall (OS) progression-free survival estimated using Kaplan-Meier method log-rank test was used for...

Soft tissue sarcomas (STSs) are rare malignant tumors of embryogenic mesoderm origin. Primary thoracic STSs account for a small percentage all and limited published information is available. This study aimed to identify the prognostic factors evaluate disease's clinical outcomes. The medical records 109 patients with who were treated between 2003 2013 retrospectively reviewed. Patients' survival rates analyzed potential evaluated. The median follow-up period was 29 months (range: 1-121...

Most data on prognostic factors for patients with high-grade undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma (HGUPS) is obtained from analyses of soft tissue sarcomas. The purpose this study was to evaluate the clinicopathologic features and their impact outcomes specifically in diagnosed HGUPS. In multicenter trial, we retrospectively analyzed 112 who were treated at 12 different institutions Turkey. We collected concerning patients, tumor characteristics, treatment modalities. There 69 males (61.6 %)...

The role of baseline and post-treatment standardized uptake value (SUVmax) values in predicting pathological response patients with breast cancer after neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC).Thirty invasive ductal were included this retrospective study. F-18 fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) positron emission tomography/computerized tomography (PET/CT) examinations performed before NAC. Pretreatment SUVmax (SUVmax I), II) ΔSUVmax primary obtained. Breast tumor pathology preparations examined for the...

Mucosal melanoma (MM) is a rare type of cancer that differs significantly from cutaneous melanoma. In this study, we aimed to evaluate clinical and demographical characteristics, prognoses factors influencing survival, treatment alternatives, features different subtypes the patients. The patients were followed up with treated in centers due their diagnoses MM. We retrospectively analyzed data 107 who diagnosed MM 14 institutions Turkey. mean age was 64.5 years. The standard therapy for stage I rectum cancer is surgical resection. Currently, there no strong evidence to suggest that any type of adjuvant beneficial. risks local relapse and distant metastasis are higher in rectal tumors. Therefore, while clearly defined absolute indication lymph node negative colon cancers, tumors T3N0 require treatment. Due the more aggressive nature we explored clinical pathologic factors could predict risk Stage (T1-T2) disease whether was progression-free survival...
