Abstract Chiral allylic alcohols are highly prized in synthetic chemistry due to their versatile reactivity stemming from both alkenyl and hydroxyl functionalities. While the Nozaki–Hiyama–Kishi (NHK) reaction is a widely used method for synthesis of alcohols, it suffers drawbacks such as use toxic chromium salts, high amounts metal reductants, poor enantiocontrol. To address these limitations, we present novel approach involving metallaphotoredox‐catalyzed asymmetric NHK production chiral...

Disclosing the different structure-function relationship of promoters is vital for designing catalysts with superior performance. In this work, dispersion and location lanthanum (La), namely interact CeO2-ZrO2 (CZ) component or Al2O3 component, has been regulated by controlling pretreatment temperature CeO2-ZrO2-Al2O3 (CZA) support, then effects La structure on Pd/CZA three-way catalyst have systematically investigated to pick out doping strategy. By XRD, BET TEM tests, it found that...

Abstract Introduction: Historical risk factors for tongue cancer include age, chronic exposure to tobacco and alcohol use. Smoking-related has declined due active anti-tobacco campaigns in developed countries, yet the incidence of increased, particularly women patients under a younger age group. This study aims investigate differences genomic processes driving oncogenesis young old with cancer. Methods: We perform laser-capture microdissection on 54 formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE)...

Bladder cancer (BC) is a disease that requires lifelong surveillance due to its high recurrence rate. An efficient method for the non-invasive rapid monitoring of patient prognosis and downstream phenotype characterization warranted. Here, we develop an integrated procedure detect aggressive mesenchymal exfoliated bladder cells (EBCCs) from patients in label-free manner. Using combination filtration inertial focusing principles, allowed EBCCs single stream-line high-throughput separation...

A 49-year-old Indian male presented with rapidly progressive vision loss 1 day after receiving the second dose of BNT162b2 mRNA coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccine (Pfizer-BioNTech, NY, USA). The eye had secondary angle closure glaucoma, bullous retinal detachment, and massive intraocular hemorrhage. Ultrasound showed an ill-defined subretinal mass moderate internal reflectivity. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) confirmed enhancing heterogeneous mass. Histopathology a necrotic...

The activity of methane oxidation on the Pd/10YZ (10 wt.% Yttria-stabilized Zirconia) catalyst was significantly improved by pretreatment with a simulated emission gas mixture. 90% conversion temperature T90 pre-treated Pd/10YZ-P decreased 49 °C. It found that increased content PdO and active oxygen species surface. Meanwhile, larger crystalline particles were formed after pretreatment. This enhanced reducing property catalyst, resulting in significant improvement activity. exhaust...
