Recent studies revealed the role of lipase in pathogenicity Malassezia restricta dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis (D/SD). The from M. (Mrlip1) is considered a potential target for therapy. In this work, we performed structure-based virtual screening Zinc database to find natural bioactive inhibitors Mrlip1. We identified three compounds bearing superior affinity specificity Traditional Chinese Medicine (~60,000 compounds), their binding patterns with Mrlip1 were analyzed detail....

Broadening the alloyed CdSexTe1-x region in absorber layer is key to preparing highly efficient CdTe-based solar cells (SCs). With CdSe prejunction doping, diffusion distance via non-in situ Se doping method restricted, and ions are difficult completely diffuse through whole layer. Moreover, commonly used p-type back contact material CuSCN shows copper characteristics, but S element not an ideal source for CdTe absorber. Thus, it demanding develop new materials with dual activation of Se. In...

Abstract A photobiocatalytic cascade transforming natural triglycerides into alkanes/alkenes is proposed. Starting from triglycerides, free fatty acids have been obtained using lipases. The were then, in a photoenzymatic step, decarboxylated the C1‐shortened alkanes recently described photodecarboxylase Chlorella variabilis NC64A. This produced various (waste) oils significant amounts (up to 24 g L −1 ) and may provide basis for valorisation of waste next generation biodiesel.

Abstract An enzymatic process optimization and a largescale plant trial for rapeseed oil degumming were carried out by novel microbial lipase. Response surface methodology was used to obtain the desired data in optimization. Enzyme dosage, temperature, pH important determining factors affecting degumming. The optimal set of variables an enzyme dosage 39.6 mg/kg, temperature 48.3°C, 4.9. phosphorus content could be reduced 3.1 mg/kg at levels tested factors. performed on 400 tons/d production...

MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are endogenously produced ∼21-nt riboregulators that associate with Argonaute (Ago) proteins to direct mRNA cleavage or repress the translation of complementary RNAs. Capturing molecular mechanisms miRNA interacting its target will not only reinforce understanding underlying RNA interference but also fuel design more effective small-interfering strands. To address this, in present work RNA-bound (Ago-miRNA, Ago-miRNA-target) and RNA-free Ago forms were analyzed by...
