Upregulation of heat shock proteins (HSPs) drastically compromises the treatment effect mild photothermal therapy (PTT). Herein, we designed a polyporous Cu single atom nanozyme (Cu SAzyme) loaded with licogliflozin (LIK066) for HSP-silencing induced PTT. On one hand, LIK066 inhibits glucose uptake by shutting sodium-dependent transporter (SGLT) "valve", effectively blocking energy source adenosine triphosphate (ATP) generation. Without sufficient energy, cancer cells cannot synthesize HSPs....

The complexity, diversity, and heterogeneity of malignant tumors pose a formidable challenge for antitumor therapy. To achieve the goal significantly enhancing effect, nanomedicine-based synergistic therapy is one important strategies. Herein, we innovatively report defect-rich glassy IrTe2 (G-IrTe2) with weak Ir–Te bond strength sonodynamic (SDT), chemodynamic (CDT), mild photothermal (PTT). G-IrTe2 sonosensitizer under ultrasound (US) stimuli exhibits excellent reactive oxygen species...

Delay-tolerant networks (DTNs) rely on the mobility of nodes and their contacts to make up with lack continuous connectivity and, thus, enable message delivery from source destination in a “store-carry-forward” fashion. Since consumes resource such as storage power, some may choose not forward or carry others' messages while relying others deliver locally generated messages. These kinds selfish behaviors hinder effective communications over DTNs. In this paper, we present an efficient...

We present Gecko, a compact and versatile text embedding model. Gecko achieves strong retrieval performance by leveraging key idea: distilling knowledge from large language models (LLMs) into retriever. Our two-step distillation process begins with generating diverse, synthetic paired data using an LLM. Next, we further refine the quality retrieving set of candidate passages for each query, relabeling positive hard negative same The effectiveness our approach is demonstrated compactness...

Abstract Near‐infrared (NIR) light‐triggered hyperthermia has exhibited promising prospects in oncology therapy due to the unique merits including minimal invasiveness, monitorable, excellent therapeutic effect, and negligible side effects. Especially, second NIR biowindow (NIR‐II, 1000–1700 nm) with less absorbance scattering by skin tissue, deep tissue penetration, received extensive attention for photonic hyperthermia.
