In both prokaryotes and eukaryotes nonsense mutations in a gene can enhance the decay rate of mRNA transcribed from gene, phenomenon described as nonsense-mediated decay. yeast, products UPF1 UPF3 genes are required for this pathway, report we focus on identification characterization additional factors rapid nonsense-containing mRNAs. We present evidence that product UPF2 is new factor involved pathway. Mutation or deletion it chromosome resulted stabilization mRNAs, whereas wild-type...

FeSe(x) (x = 0.80,0.84,0.88,0.92) thin films were prepared on SrTiO(3)(001)(STO), (La,Sr)(Al,Ta)O(3)(001) (LSAT), and LaAlO(3)(001) (LAO) substrates by a pulsed laser deposition method. All of the show single-phase c-axis oriented epitaxial growth, are superconducting. Among them, FeSe(0.88) T(c,onset) 11.8 K T(c,0) 3.4 K. The upper critical magnetic field is estimated to be 14.0 T.

Visible-blind p–i–n avalanche photodiodes (APDs) were fabricated with high-quality GaN epilayers deposited on c-plane sapphire substrates by metal-organic chemical vapour deposition. Due to low dislocation density and a sophisticated device fabrication process, the dark current was as small ∼0.05 nA under reverse bias up 20 V for devices large diameter of 200 µm, which among largest area GaN-based APDs yet reported. When exceeded 38 increased sharply, exhibiting bulk field-dominated stable...

In this paper, we presented a detailed timing analysis of prominent outburst 4U 0115+63 detected by \textit{Insight}-HXMT in 2017 August. The spin period the neutron star was determined to be $3.61398\pm 0.00002$ s at MJD 57978. We measured variability and extract orbital elements binary system. angle periastron evolved with rate $0.048\pm0.003$ $yr^{-1}$. light curves are folded sketch pulse profiles different energy ranges. A multi-peak structure 1-10 keV is clearly illustrated. introduced...

Absolute non-resonant recombination (RR) rate coefficients of Ni19+ ions were measured by employing the electron–ion merged-beams technique at main cooler storage ring in Lanzhou. Using electron and energy detuning system, we obtained a narrow momentum spread (Δp/p ~ 2 × 10−4) tuned precisely relative energies (minimum step voltage 1 V) between electrons ions. In addition, compared RR with theoretical ones calculated self-consistent-field Dirac–Slater method, found that they are good agreement.
