We hypothesized that three-dimensional pseudocontinuous arterial spin labelling (pCASL) may have similar efficacy in astrocytic tumour grading as dynamic susceptibility contrast-enhanced perfusion-weighted imaging (DSC-PWI), and the accuracy be further improved when combined with apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) values.Forty-three patients tumours were studied using weighted (DWI), pCASL, DSC-PWI. Histograms of ADC normalized cerebral blood flow values (nCBF on pCASL nrCBF DSC-PWI)...
Purpose To evaluate the utility of histogram analysis monoexponential, biexponential, and stretched‐exponential models to a dualistic model epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC). Materials Methods Fifty‐two patients with histopathologically proven EOC underwent preoperative magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) (including diffusion‐weighted [DWI] 11 b‐values) using 3.0T system were divided into two groups: types I II. Apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC), true (D), pseudodiffusion (D*), perfusion...
Gliomas grading is important for treatment plan; we aimed to investigate the application of intravoxel incoherent motion (IVIM) diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) in gliomas grading, by comparing with three-dimensional pseudocontinuous arterial spin labeling (3D pCASL). 24 patients (13 high grade and 11 low gliomas) underwent IVIM DWI 3D pCASL before operation; maps fast diffusion coefficient (<mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"...
Three p53 DNA polymorphisms (BstUIand MspIRFLPs in exon 4 and intron 6, respectively, a 16-bp duplication 3) their haplotype combinations were studied 73 patients (61 males 12 females) with nasopharyngeal cancer 105 healthy controls from the Guizhou province southern China. Increased frequencies of A2 allele (p = 0.005), MspIAl 0.021) BstUlAl (Pro) 0.072) found among patients, more pronounced differences male 0.003,0.014 0.052, respectively). Haplotype linkage dis-equilibria differed those...
Theoretical analysis and a large number of experiments have proved that plasma components do not satisfy Boltzmann-Gibbs statistics can be well described by nonextensive statistical mechanics, while new parameters, electron which are introduced to describe the properties plasma, cannot diagnosed yet. Here we show measurement parameters with single electric probe. Our results probe may play role in diagnosis, measuring nonextensivity improving diagnostic accuracy other parameters. We expect...
Theoretical analysis and a large number of experiments have proved that plasma components do not satisfy Boltzmann–Gibbs statistics can be well described by nonextensive statistical mechanics, while sheath potential coefficients in with distribution are investigated deeply comprehensively. Here, we investigate the ion formed around single electric probe find coefficient is related to electron parameter, besides extensive limit results return case framework. The presents different dependences...
The evolution of plasma profiles and radial electric fields in the edge tokamaks during a transition to an improved confinement regime is explored unfavorable configuration based on self-consistent, flux-driven simulations reduced Braginskii models with ion pressure dynamics. response heating power by varying heat source strength. energy transfer from turbulent mean flows induced large-amplitude fluctuations as input becomes sufficiently strong. It found that play important role generation...
This study focuses on the reservoir scaling and under-injection issues of water injection well during development an ultra-low permeability in Xinjiang due to complex composition injected water. Microfluidic experiments were applied visualize flow channel changes flooding, indoor core flooding employed analyze ion concentration, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) was used evaluate pore structure damage. Together, these clarify precipitation characteristics as met formation porous media effects...
Abstract Tokamak plasmas with elongated cross sections are susceptible to vertical displacement events (VDEs), which can damage the first wall via heat flux or electromagnetic (EM) forces. We present a 3D nonlinear reduced magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) simulation of CFETR plasma during cold VDE following thermal quench, focusing on relationship among EM force, displacement, and n = 1 mode. The dominant mode, identified as m / 2/1, becomes destabilized when most current is contracted within q 2...
Abstract The dynamical evolution of edge turbulence during a transport bifurcation is explored using flux-driven nonlinear fluid model with geometry relevant to the plasma region. simulations show that self-generated mean shear flows can dramatically modify phase angle between turbulent fluctuations. changes in differences and amplitudes fluctuations give rise modifications transport. statistical properties flux are also investigated before after flow generation.
In view of the unclear understanding mechanism gas slippage effect, new recognition effect was put forward through different types experiments which are used for testing permeability Berea sandstone and shale samples. It is proposed that diversity in lower limits fluid reservoir pore throat fluid-solid interface tension leads to differences velocity at interface.Besides, coefficient related rock type while pressure temperature mainly affect high-pressure physical properties gas. Meanwhile, a...
The high gain of pumping end in end-pumped all solid state lasers can easily cause self-excited oscillation, which limits the output energy Q-switched laser. In order to obtain a 1064 nm laser with energy, conversion efficiency and compact structure, following three aspects are mainly studied suppress oscillation caused by pump: (1) doping concentration active particles is optimized reduce medium, (2) wavelength pump light changed adjusting temperature diode deviate from absorption peak...
Turbulent self-organization driven by global ideal interchange modes in a dipole-confined plasma is explored with self-consistent, whole-plasma simulations using flux-tube averaged magnetohydrodynamic model dipole magnetic geometry. We show the existence of robust particle pinch interchange-mode fluctuations, which particles are transported up density gradient. It found that profiles field spontaneously relax to marginally stable state as centrally peaked pressure and created transport.
