Strong interactions preserve an approximate isospin symmetry between up (u) and down (d) quarks, part of the more general flavor symmetry. In case K meson production, if this were exact, it would result in equal numbers charged (K+ K−) neutral (K0 $${\overline{K}}^{0}$$ ) mesons produced collisions isospin-symmetric atomic nuclei. Here, we report results on relative abundance over production argon scandium nuclei at a center-of-mass energy 11.9 GeV per nucleon pair. We find that K+ K−...

Measuring quantum-statistical, femtoscopic (including final state interactions) momentum correlations with interactions in high-energy nucleus-nucleus collisions reveal the space-time structure of particle-emitting source created. In this paper, we report NA61/SHINE measurements identified pion pairs and describe said based on symmetric Lévy-type sources Ar+Sc at 150A GeV/c. We investigate transverse mass dependence parameters discuss their possible interpretations.

Recent measurements of femtoscopic correlations at NA61/SHINE unravel that the shape particle emitting source is not Gaussian. The are based on Lévy-stable symmetric sources, and we discuss average pair transverse mass dependence parameters. One parameters, Lévy exponent α, particular importance. It describes source, which, in vicinity critical point QCD phase diagram, may be related to η. Its measurement hence contribute search for characterization diagram.
