Bone implants for different body parts require varying mechanical properties, dimensions, and biodegradability rates. Currently, it is still challenging to produce artificial bones with perfect compatibility human bones. In this study, a silk-fabric reinforced silk material (SFS) composed of pure exceptional biocompatibility, osteogenesis, reported, demonstrates its outstanding performance as bone implant material. The SFS fabricated using simple hot-pressing technique, degummed fabric the...

Abstract Purpose To demonstrate a novel contrast mechanism for imaging the vessel wall and calcification using susceptibility‐weighted (SWI). Materials Methods Eighteen subjects were imaged with multidetector computed tomography (MDCT) high‐resolution SWI at 3T. The parameters optimized to allow best visualization of femoral artery lumen arterial in magnitude phase images, respectively. SWI‐filtered data used evaluate diamagnetic susceptibility putative calcification. Imaging was performed...

Nanodynamic therapy (NDT) based on reactive oxygen species (ROS) production has been envisioned as an effective cancer treatment. However, the efficacy is limited by hypoxia, insufficient hydrogen peroxide conversion, and high glutathione (GSH) levels in tumor microenvironment (TME). To solve these issues, we proposed designed a biocompatible, resistant Cu-modified Ti

Introduction: Ti6Al4V titanium alloy is widely used in producing orthopedic and maxillofacial implants, but drawbacks include high elastic modulus, poor osseointegration performance, toxic elements. A new medical material with better comprehensive performance urgently needed the clinic. Methods: Ti10Mo6Zr4Sn3Nb (referred to as Ti-B12) a unique ß developed by us. The mechanical properties of Ti-B12 depict that it has advantages, such strength, low fatigue resistance. In our study,...
