Aromatic ginger (Kaempferia galanga L) is native to India and believed be originated in Burma. Despite substantial uses a pickle south-east Asian cuisines, aromatic chemically less studied than white red ginger. Multi-directional investigations have been performed evaluate chemical composition, nutritional values, ameliorative protective potential of galanga) rhizome (KGR). Macro micro components analysis confirmed that KGR contains protein, fiber, high amount essential minerals (potassium,...

ABSTRACT Changes in plant growth and development, micronutrient accumulation, essential oil yield composition were studied Japanese mint (Mentha arvensis L. cv. MS 77) growing under selected water stresses from deficiency to sufficiency. Water stress resulted significant reductions CO2 exchange rate, total assimilatory area, fresh dry matter, chlorophyll, carotenoids, Fe, Mn, Zn, yield. Some changes observed, but these generally not correlated with stress.

Culturing geranium at different doses of Zn from 0-1.0 g m-3 (Zn0 to Zn1.000) revealed that is an antioxidant promoter, apart its micronutrient essentiality. Zn0.250 was the critical concentration for maximum content (0.21 %) total essential monoterpene oil(s). At Zn0.005-Zn0.250, net photosynthetic rate, and contents chlorophyll oil(s) were affected. The peroxidase activity obtained Zn0.250, with production biomolecule geraniol. We found oxido-reducible reaction in formation possibly major...

Changes in growth parameters, carbon assimilation efficiency, and utilization of 14CO2 assimilate into alkaloids plant parts were investigated at whole level by treatment Catharanthus roseus with gibberellic acid (GA). Application GA (1 000 g m-3) resulted changes leaf morphology, increase stem elongation, internode length, height, decrease biomass content. Phenotypic accompanied contents chlorophylls photosynthetic capacity. application higher % total accumulated leaf, stem, root. produced...

Abstract Neural progenitor cell transplantation has emerged as a promising approach for replacement therapy in the brain of neurodegenerative diseases. These are multipotent stem cells with self‐renewal capabilities and can give rise to all three lineages nervous system be maintained differentiated desirable neuronal subtypes vitro known trophic factors. However, like fetal cells, neural after differentiating specific type also require continuous neurotrophic factor support their long‐term...
