Noncommunicable diseases account for 53% of deaths and 44% disability-adjusted life years lost in India. Village health workers (VHWs) were trained blood pressure (BP) sugar (BS) measurement assessed using a checklist. A total 38 VHWs with mean age 44.8 years, schooling 9.9 scored 10.0 (76.9%) BP 9.74 (69.6%) BS. There was no difference scores education age.
