In this paper, the multiple triggering effect of conventional DTSCR is explained minutely. To alleviate effect, two novel diode-triggered SCRs with low trigger current (LTC-DTSCR) structures are proposed, which have lower by employing branch from parasitic SCR to assist main SCR's conduction.
