We report the complete genome sequence of deep-sea γ-proteobacterium, Idiomarina loihiensis , isolated recently from a hydrothermal vent at 1,300-m depth on Lōihi submarine volcano, Hawaii. The I. comprises single chromosome 2,839,318 base pairs, encoding 2,640 proteins, four rRNA operons, and 56 tRNA genes. A comparison to genomes other γ-proteobacteria reveals abundance amino acid transport degradation enzymes, but loss sugar systems certain enzymes metabolism. This finding suggests that...
Members of genus Bifidobacterium are Gram-positive bacteria, representing a large part the human infant microbiota and moderately common in adults. However, our knowledge about their diversity, intraspecific phylogeny long-term persistence humans is still limited. longum generally considered to be most prevalent species intestinal microbiota. In this work we studied whole genome sequences 28 strains B. longum, including 8 described paper. Part these were isolated from healthy children during...
Three novel strains of Gram-stain-negative, obligately anaerobic, spore-forming straight or slightly curved rods with pointed ends occurring singly in pairs were isolated from the faeces healthy human children. The characterized by mesophilic fermentative metabolism and production acetate, ethanol H2 as end metabolic products. Strains ASD3451 ASD5720T motile, fermented lactose raffinose, weakly maltose. Strain ASD4241T was non-motile did not ferment carbohydrates listed above but starch....
Purpose: whooping cough diagnostics by molecular-genetic methods.Materials and methods. Under observation there were 4930 people during the period from 2012 to 2015. All samples received in 8 schools of Moscow region: 3 had been found children with cough, other 5 – only prolonged cough. Whooping diagnosis given earlier bacteriological serological 430 clinical studied 2 methods: PCR fluorescent hybridized detection amplified products isothermal amplification.Results. In three eight cases at 7...
In recent decades, nucleic acid sequencing technologies used for metagenomic analysis have become the main methods assessing composition of microbiota. At same time, use novel cultivation and identification microorganisms in microbiological research led to renaissance culture-based technologies, because facilitated discovery isolation both new strains well-known as well uncultivated unexplored bacterial taxa. The aim this study was evaluate potential using method assessment qualitative...
We announce here a draft genome sequence of Lactobacillus fermentum NB-22, strain isolated from human vaginal microbiota. The assembled consists 190 contigs, joined into 137 scaffolds, and the total size is 2.01 Mb.
Abstract The purpose of this study was to conduct a comparative analysis the composition dominant groups vaginal microorganisms in healthy pregnant women and infected with HPV using microbiological culture-based method. MALDI TOF MS method 16S rRNA gene fragment sequencing were used identify isolated from (n=32) (n=24). It found that secretion samples both contained bacteria 4 phyla: Bacillota, Actinomycetota, Pseudomonadota, Bacteroidota, Ascomycota fungi. most common microbial community...
The lesion of skin the majority atopic dermatitis patients is chronically colonized by bacteria belonging to species Staphylococcus aureus. Topical antibacterial and anti-inflammatory therapy treatment are often ineffective due fast recolonization S. aureus exacerbation allergic process. Our aim was determine a frequency colonization in lesions, mucous membranes nasal cavity intestine children with dermatitis, compare genotypes strains isolated from different biotopes patients, clarify...

Background
The human gastrointestinal tract is colonized by billions of commensal microbes - the gut microbiota. Recently, it has become evident that intestinal microbiota plays an essential role in well-being. Akkermansia muciniphila a promising bacterium for next-generation probiotics to prevent inflammation. aim this work was evaluate immunomodulating activity A.muciniphila.
Methods
This study conducted using set A. strains including two from healthy...
