Conocybe commonly occur as saprobes, are distributed in tropical, subtropical, and temperate zones worldwide. In the present study, two new species section Conocybe, viz. qujingensis qujinguniversitatis, proposed based on morphological investigations phylogenetic analyses. Molecular analyses sequence data from nuclear ribosomal ITS loci support taxonomic position of genus Conocybe.
