본 연구는 유아교사의 교직헌신과 유아의 사회성이 창의성의 다섯 가지 하위요인(확산적 사고, 호기심, 몰입/인내, 탈규범성, 독립성)에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 수도권에 소재한 유치원과 어린이집에서 유아반을 담당하고 있는 유아교사 198명과 유아 198명을 대상으로 온-오프라인 조사방식을 병행하여 실시하였다. 이에 따른 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교직헌신 중 전문의식이 창의성에 영향을 것으로 나타났으며, 전문의식은 창의성 하위요인 확산적 사고와 몰입·인내에 미치고, 교육애는 사고에 나타났다. 둘째, 사회성 친밀성, 표현성, 활동성, 적응성이 하위요인인 적응성, 독립성은 하위요인에 부분적으로 발달을 위한 교직헌신인 태도적 측면의 중요성과 하위요인별 영향력에 대한 기초자료를 제시하였다는 점에서 시사점을 지닌다.
