This paper examines the relationships among environmental regulations (ER), staff quality (SQ), R&D efficiency (RDE), green technology (GT), and profit. The research sample comprises 1197 firms in 16 manufacturing industries China, during 2008 2015. DEA-based measures are employed to firm RDEs, results show that SQ is essential for high RDE GT (as expected), but main effects of mixed. Importantly, we find ER moderates SQ-GT, SQ-RDE SQ-profit relationships. Specifically, if ERs eased, limited...

In this study, we evaluate the effect of co-doping with TiO2 nanoparticles and sisal cellulose nanocrystals (CNCs) on physical biological properties a conventional glass-ionomer cement (GIC). Test samples were characterized by scanning electron microscopy, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, subjected to mechanical tests performances. Antimicrobial activity was evaluated against Candida albicans, cytotoxicity experiments conducted using L-929 cells. Unmodified GIC served as control....

Congenital heart disease (CHD) is a common birth defect. Our previous studies suggest that indoor air pollution, especially total volatile organic compounds (TVOCs), may increase fetal CHD risk, whereas vitamin and folic acid (FA) supplements in early pregnancy might offer protection against CHD. However, limited research has explored whether FA or multivitamin supplementation can mitigate the effects of TVOCs exposure on We conducted case-control study to investigate association between...
