MicroRNAs are important gene regulators that potentially play a profound role in tumorigenesis. Increasing evidence indicates miR-145 is tumor suppressor capable of inhibiting breast and colon cancer cell growth both vitro vivo. However, the biological function non-small lung (NSCLC) largely unknown. In cells, c-Myc confirmed direct target for miR-145. The aim this work was to investigate effect on proliferation NSCLC using lines A549 H23 as models. We determined expression level tissues...

In the current work, influence of high-pressure homogenization (HPH) (200, 250, and 300 MPa) on pH, Brix, turbidity, viscosity, particle size distribution (PSD), zeta potential, color, polyphenol oxidase (PPO), peroxidase (POD), profile bioaccessibility total phenolic compounds was studied. The results show no change in apple juice’s TSS density. contrast, other physiochemical properties juice treated with HPH were significantly changed. Besides content (15% degradation) HPH-treated at MPa,...

MicroRNA‑19a (miR‑19a) has been found to be overexpressed in lung cancers. However, the underlying molecular mechanisms of miR‑19a tumorigenesis and development cancer remain poorly understood. In present study, we aimed delineate role action non‑small cell (NSCLC). was both NSCLC tumor tissues lines, as shown by RT-PCR. The enforced expression transfection with miR-19a mimics significantly enhanced growth viability, invasion migration cells, assays, promoted xenograft tumors a mouse model....

Allergic rhinitis (AR) is primarily caused by a T helper cell (Th)1/Th2 imbalance. In murine AR model of previous study, the serum ovalbumin (OVA)-sIgE concentration was high, whereas microRNA (miR)-135a lowly expressed in nasal mucosa. The abnormal expression pattern miR-135a coincided with highly endogenous factors, including GATA binding protein (GATA)-3 and interleukin (IL)-4, T-box cells (T-bet) interferon (IFN)-γ. We hypothesized that may play an important role immune regulation mice....

In muscular dystrophy and old age, skeletal muscle repair is compromised leading to fibrosis fatty tissue accumulation. Therefore, therapies that protect or enhance would be valuable medical treatments. Hypoxia-inducible factors (HIFs) regulate gene transcription under conditions of low oxygen, HIF target genes EPO VEGF have been associated with protection repair. We tested the importance activation following injury, in both a murine model human volunteers, using prolyl hydroxylase...

The objective of this study was to explore the role SULF2-mediated ERK/AKT signaling pathway in cervical cancer. SULF2 expression detected tumor tissues and tumor-adjacent normal from cancer patients. HeLa cells were divided into six groups: control group, NC siRNA + LY294002 U0125 group. In each received corresponding treatment, followed by measurement cellular biological characteristics pathway. We also confirmed effect vivo using a xenograft model nude mice. upregulated tissues, which...

MicroRNA (miR)‑199a‑5p expression is downregulated in a variety of malignancies, including non‑small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), and its low associated with poor prognosis. However, to the best our knowledge, mechanism underlying miR‑199a‑5p downregulation NSCLC target effectors remain be elucidated. The present study revealed tissues lines compared para‑carcinoma epithelial line. Further experiments indicated that methylation levels miR‑199a promoter were markedly higher tissues. DNA...
