Glioma is the most common malignancy of nervous system with high mortality rates. The MS4A family members have been reported as potential prognostic biomarkers in several cancers; however, relationship between and glioma has not clearly confirmed. In our study, we explored value MS4As well their pro-cancer mechanisms glioma. Using bioinformatics analysis methods based on data from public databases, found that expression MS4A4A, MS4A4E, MS4A6A, MS4A7, TMEM176A, TMEM176B was significantly...

Purpose To investigate the contrast sensitivity function (CSF) changes in simple high myopia (SHM) and evaluate correlations between these with early retinal microstructure. Methods This prospective study comprised 81 subjects, 20 emmetropia (EM), 26 low moderate (LM/MM), 35 SHM. The area under log CSF curve (AULCSF) cut-off spatial frequency (Cut-off SF) were employed as measures of CSF. Adaptive optics (AO) was to quantify cone density, spacing, regularity. thickness blood flow sublayers...

Lens biomechanics has great potential for application in clinical diagnostics and treatment monitoring of presbyopia cataracts. However, current approaches to lens elastography do not meet the desired safety or sensitivity application. In this regard, we propose a noncontact optical coherence (OCE) method facilitate quantitative situ imaging elasticity. Elastic waves induced by air-pulse stimulation on limbus propagate are then imaged using custom-built swept-source tomography obtain elastic...

Quantifying the mechanical properties of iris can offer valuable insights into pathophysiology primary angle closure glaucoma. However, current techniques for elastography remain ex vivo with limited clinical applications. This article describes a proposition non-contact and non-invasive air-puff optical coherence (OCE) system that evaluate elasticity in vivo. Ten eyes recruited from seven subjects underwent OCE imaging acquisition under three different illumination conditions. The Young's...

Virus infection can change host's metabolism, while tumorigenesis results from metabolic disorder. MicroRNAs (miRNAs), crucial regulatory factors overlaying transcriptional control mechanisms, guide homeostasis. In terms of disorder, antiviral miRNAs may have anti-tumor activity. However, this issue has not been extensively investigated. the present study, revealed that shrimp mja-miR-35, which showed activity in against white spot syndrome virus (WSSV) infection, could suppress metastasis...

During viral infection in vertebrates, cytokines play important roles the host defense against virus. However, function of invertebrates has not been well characterized. In this study, shrimp involved were screened using a cytokine antibody microarray. The results showed that three cytokines, Fas receptor (Fas), platelet factor 4 (PF4) and interleukin-22 (IL-22), significantly upregulated white spot syndrome virus (WSSV)-challenged shrimp, suggesting these played positive regulatory immune...

It has been reported that the most common post-transcriptional modification of eukaryotic RNA is N6-methyladenosine (m6A). Previous studies show m6A a key regulator for viral infection and immune response. However, whether there pathogen stimulus-dependent regulation in invertebrate shrimp not studied. In this study, we performed transcriptome-wide profiling mRNA methylation (Marsupenaeus japonicus) after white spot syndrome virus (WSSV) by methylated immunoprecipitation sequencing...

结果表明大鼠悬尾1月后,眼底彩照未见明显视盘水肿等症状,但OCT结果显示大鼠眼结构发生明显改变:角膜变薄(<i>p</i>&lt;0.01),眼轴缩短(<i>p</i>&lt;0.05),视网膜外层变薄(<i>p</i>&lt;0.01)。这些特征参数变化(尤其是眼轴明显缩短)展现了SANS亚临床前期的症状。本文为后续微观层面的SANS分子机制研究提供了宏观的动物模型以及体眼部测量新方法。

In view of the high dimensionality data in many fields and serious multiple correlation between variables, this paper proposes an interpretable partial least square regression (PLSR) modeling method. Compared with principal component (PCR), when there are a large number predictors, both PLSR PCR model response predictors highly correlated or even collinear. Both these methods construct new (called components) as linear combinations original but they components different ways. We use series...
