Evidence suggests that distinct splenic dendritic cell (DC) subsets activate either CD4+ or CD8+ T cells in vivo. This bias has been partially ascribed to differential antigen presentation; however, all DC can both lineages vitro. Therefore, we tested whether the organization of and spleen dictated this preference. We discovered segregated within zones prior immunization. After intravenous immunization, two major conventional populations, distinguished by 33D1 XCR1 staining, migrated into...

Psoralen plus UVA (PUVA) is an effective therapy for mycosis fungoides (MF), the skin-limited variant of cutaneous T cell lymphoma (CTCL). In low-burden patients, PUVA reduced or eradicated malignant cells and induced clonal expansion CD8+ associated with depletion. High-burden patients appeared to clinically improve but large numbers persisted in skin. Clinical improvement was linked turnover benign clones not reduction. Benign were Th2-recruiting chemokine CCL18 before Th1-recruiting...

Proper postharvest storage preserves horticultural products, including tea, until they can be processed. However, few studies have focused on the physiology of ripening and senescence during storage, which affects flavor quality tea. In this study, physiological biochemical indexes leaves tea cultivar 'Yinghong 9' preserved at a low temperature high relative humidity (15-18 °C 85-95%, PTL) were compared to those stored ambient conditions (24 ± 2 65% 5%, UTL).
