Emerging single-atom catalysts (SACs) hold great promise for CO2 electroreduction (CO2 ER), but the design of highly active and cost-efficient SACs is still challenging. Herein, a gas diffusion strategy, along with one-step thermal activation, fabricating N-doped porous carbon polyhedrons trace isolated Fe atoms (Fe1 NC) developed. The optimized Fe1 NC/S1 -1000 atomic Fe-N3 sites supported by graphitic carbons exhibits superior ER performance CO Faradaic efficiency up to 96% at -0.5 V,...
Abstract Single atom catalysts (SACs) are considered as the emerging for boosting electricity‐driven CO 2 reduction reaction (CRR) and hydrogen evolution (HER). To replace rare expensive noble metal electrocatalysts, developing nonprecious SACs (NPMSACs) with superior electrocatalytic activity stability is of paramount importance achieving high efficiency in CRR HER. Herein, a brief overview recent achievements carbon‐rich NPMSACs both HER provided. The synthesis strategies corresponding...
Abstract Single‐atom catalysts show great promise as non‐precious electrocatalysts for CO 2 electroreduction reaction (CO ER). However, it is still challenging to gain a fundamental understanding of the complicated dynamic behavior activation achieve high product selectivity. Herein, authors report an unusual iron single‐atom catalyst, containing atomically dispersed Fe–N 4 species and Fe 3 C nanoparticles (NPs) (Fe C|Fe 1 N ). Having fragmental‐rock‐shaped nanocarbon architecture, isolated...
We demonstrate that a sharper focal spot area can be generated (0.147λ2) by using an azimuthally polarized beam propagating through vortex 0–2π phase plate than for radial polarization (0.17λ2) or linear (0.26λ2) under the same condition. Further research illustrates such optimistic results still expected when condition limitations are liberalized. This will facilitate new approaches to get superresolution in confocal systems.
The size of the dark focal spot directly determines resolution and stability stimulated emission depletion (STED) microscopy. This paper investigates relationship between polarization input light beam. types fundamental are discussed, their effects on compared optimized mode for each kind is proposed. results analysis provide theoretical basis reference designing a STED system.
Abstract Sn‐based materials are identified as promising catalysts for the CO 2 electroreduction (CO2RR) to formate (HCOO − ). However, their insufficient selectivity and activity remain grand challenges. A new type of SnO nanosheet with simultaneous N dopants oxygen vacancies ( V O ‐rich N‐SnO NS) promoting conversion HCOO is reported. Due likely synergistic effect dopant , NS exhibits high catalytic featured by an Faradaic efficiency (FE) 83% at 0.9 FE > 90% all C1 products CO) a wide...
Abstract Currently, the precise control of architecture and surface functional materials for high‐performance still remains a great challenge. Here, feasible approach is presented to synchronously manipulate mesoporous dimensionality SnO 2 catalysts into hierarchically nanosheets nanospheres within one simple reaction system. By adjustment hydrophobic chain length different fluorinated surfactants, 0D with average size 165 nm, 2D ulthrathin thickness 22.5 nm distinct dimensionalities are...
Abstract Objective To investigate the analgesic effect of esketamine combined with low-dose sufentanil in elderly patients after gastrointestinal surgery, and whether anti-inflammatory is involved mechanism postoperative delirium. Method We enrolled sixty (age ≥ 65 years old, American Society Anesthesiologists (ASA) grade I-III) who underwent surgery. Patients were randomly assigned to Group C (control group) received 2 ug/kg, E (experimental 1.5 ug/kg + 1 mg/kg, 30 each group. All total...
Developing low-cost and effective electrocatalysts for electrochemical reduction of CO2 (CO2ER) is critical to conversion utilization. Herein, we report a novel two-dimensional (2D) confined electrocatalyst composed core-shell structured tin oxide nanoparticles (NPs) encapsulated into N-doped carbon (NC) supported on electrochemically exfoliated graphene (SnO2⊃NC@EEG) prepared by in situ carbonization 2-methylimidazole/SnO2 complex@poly(vinyl pyrrolidone) (PVP)-modified EEG precursor. The...
Acute kidney injury (AKI) is a common clinical syndrome lacking effective pharmacotherapy. Gambogic acid (GA), as an active ingredient of herbal medicines, exhibits antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects that benefit the treatment AKI, but its poor aqueous solubility limits renal delivery. We, for first time, developed GA-based nanoparticles (GA-NPs) with preferential uptake AKI treatment. By PEGylating NH2–PEG5000-NOTA, hydrophobic GA was self-assembled into ∼4.5 nm nanoparticles, which...
Aquaporin-1 (AQP1) has been proposed as a mediator of estrogen-induced angiogenesis in human breast cancer and endometrial cancer. Elucidation the molecular mechanisms governing AQP1-mediated, may contribute to an improved understanding tumor development. Our objective was identify estrogen-response element (ERE) promoter Aqp1 gene investigate effects AQP1 on tubulogenesis vascular endothelial cells. The study conducted university hospital eastern China.Immunohistological, real-time PCR...
Background/Aims: Water channels, also named aquaporins (AQPs), play crucial roles in cellular water homeostasis. Methods: RT-PCR indicated the mRNA expression of AQPs 1-5, 7, 9, and 11-12, but not 0, 6, 8, 10 2∼8-cell stage human embryos. AQP3 AQP7 were further analyzed for their protein oocyte, zygote, 2-cell embryo, 4-cell 8-cell morula, blastocyst from both mouse using immunofluorescence, respectively. Results: detected all these stages. Knockdown either or by targeted siRNA injection...
Previous observational studies have shown that low back pain (LBP) often coexists with sleep disturbances, however, the causal relationship remains unclear. In present study, between disturbances and LBP was investigated importance of improvement in comprehensive management emphasized.Genetic variants were extracted as instrumental variables (IVs) from genome-wide association study (GWAS) insomnia, duration, short long daytime sleepiness. Information regarding genetic selected a GWAS dataset...
