Malignant melanoma, characterized by its ability to metastasize other organs, is responsible for 90% of skin cancer mortality. To investigate alterations in the cellular metabolome and lipidome related melanoma metastasis, gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) direct infusion-mass (DI-MS)-based metabolic lipidomic profiling were performed on extracts normal human melanocyte (HEMn-LP), low metastatic (A375, G361), highly (A2058, SK-MEL-28) cell lines. In this study, metabolomic...

Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the third most common cancer, and associated with a high percentage of cancer-related death globally. Furthermore, success rate therapeutic treatment for CRC patients mainly depends on status metastasis. Therefore, novel drugs or techniques should be discovered metastatic CRC. In this study, we selected Astaxanthin (AXT), one carotenoids, as metastasis inhibitor through high-throughput drug screening based invadopodia staining, confirmed anti-migratory...

Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), including ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease, is a complex gastrointestinal disorder with multifactorial etiology, environmental triggers, autoimmune mechanisms, genetic predisposition. Despite advancements in therapeutic strategies for IBD, its associated mortality rate continues to rise, which often attributed unforeseen side effects of conventional treatments. In this context, we explored the potential Ecklonia cava extract (ECE) derived from...

Thus, it crucial identify and develop new therapeutic strategies hinder metastasis. While emerging studies have hinted pivotal role glucose-regulated protein 94 (GRP94) in tumorigenesis, exact biological functions molecular mechanisms GRP94 modulating remain be elucidated. Our study demonstrated an increased expression TNBC correlated metastatic...
