Unilateral absence of pulmonary artery (UAPA) is a very rare condition, with an estimated prevalence 1 in 200,000 population, which commonly associated various cardiovascular anomalies or can occur isolated manner. Isolated cases survive to adulthood and remain asymptomatic, but they may frequently experience hemoptysis, repeated infections, symptoms like dyspnea chest pain. Due the rarity disorder its ambiguous appearance, diagnosis be challenging. We present case 28-year-old male who...

In an effort to reduce the burgeoning problem of cardiovascular diseases (CVD), it is imperative understand variation risk factors across different geographic regions. This study aims shed light on examining leading CVD and it's clustering Nepal.Data from a nationally representative survey were analyzed estimate distribution four major (high blood pressure, overweight, obesity, smoking) diseases. Similarly, this also assessed intra-cluster correlation coefficients (ICCs) at household,...

Transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) has rapidly evolved in the last decade to become treatment of choice for most patients with severe stenosis. Acute coronary occlusion during TAVI is a rare and life-threatening complication high morbidity mortality rates. If considered highly likely occur, risk reassessment could favor surgical replacement. An excessive that mandates continuing transcatheter strategy requires protection techniques. Coronary techniques include; wire protection,...

Transcatheter aortic valve implantation is the most preferred treatment for stenosis in elderly patients at high surgical risk. We share our experience with utilizing a balloon-expandable Myval transcatheter heart patient diagnosed bicuspid valve, exhibiting low-flow, low-gradient severe stenosis, along annular calcification that extends to left ventricular outflow tract and horizontal aorta.

Lipid-lowering is an important intervention to reduce cardiovascular morbidity and mortality after ST-Elevation myocardial infarction. This study aimed assess the proportion of such patients achieving guideline-directed therapeutic low-density lipoprotein cholesterol targets while on lower-range high-intensity statin treatment. a cross-sectional conducted in Shahid Gangalal National Heart Centre, tertiary cardiac center Kathmandu, Nepal, from November 2021 July 2022 among admitted acute...
