In this paper, an analytical method for the determination of rare earth elements in coal ash by mixed acid decomposition-inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry was established. Metal sublimation plays a crucial role in understanding natural phenomena, purification and advanced manufacturing. Herein, we report anomalous passivation of nanotwinned silver particles under e-beam irradiation through situ transmission electron microscopy, wherein the velocity is reduced by three-quarters due to formation five-fold twins.
