Abstract A complex two‐dimensional (2D) hierarchical heterostructure was fabricated by a sequential seeded self‐assembly, which consisted of laterally grown nanotubes from one perylene monomer and terminally elongated nanocoils similar on microribbon seeds third perylene. Because the nanotube nanocoil monomers can form kinetically trapped off‐pathway aggregates to prevent self‐nucleation have molecular organizations different facets seeds, preferentially nucleate grow seed sides terminal...

Micromorphology and atomic arrangement on ligament surface of nanoporous metals play a vital role in maintaining the structural stability, adjusting reaction interface endowing functionality. Here we offer an instructive scientific understanding for temperature-induced reconstruction structure evolution copper (NPC) based systematically experimental observations theoretical calculations. The results show that with dealloying temperature increasing, micromorphology NPC evolves from smooth to...

Purpose The influence of Zn concentration on microstructure and corrosion performance the Mg–xZn alloys microalloyed with Ca Ce was investigated through optic microscopy, scanning electron hydrogen evolution, dynamic polarization electrochemical impedance spectroscopy experiments. Design/methodology/approach In this paper, (x = 0.5∼2.0 Wt.%) (0.2 Wt.% each) were prepared. Findings As increase concentration, number second phase particles (Mg-Zn-Ca, Mg-Zn-Ce Mg-Ce phases) increased, when...
