Based on the “coffee-ring effect”, we developed a highly efficient SERS platform which integrates fabrication of SERS-active substrates and preconcentration analytes into one step. The high sensitivity, robustness, reproducibility simplicity make this ideal for on-site analysis small volume samples at low concentrations in complex matrices.
Artificial microbial nitrogen (N) cycle hotspots in the plant-bed/ditch system were developed and investigated based on intact core slurry assays measurement using isotopic tracing technology, quantitative PCR high-throughput sequencing. By increasing hydraulic retention time periodically fluctuating water level heterogeneous riparian zones, of anammox, nitrification, denitrification, ammonium (NH4+) oxidation, nitrite (NO2–) nitrate (NO3–) reduction DNRA all stimulated at interface...
The spatial disparity of air pollutants is one the key influential factors for environmental inequality. We quantitatively evaluated evolution PM
Methane (CH 4 ) fluxes were measured in hypereutrophic Meiliang Bay of Taihu Lake with static chambers for 1 year. The results showed that the macrophyte‐covered infralittoral zones “hotspots” CH emission water systems. There large temporal variations fluxes, ranging from −1.7 to 131 mg m −2 h −1 , littoral zone. highest emissions occurred during period summer algal bloom. amount flux June September accounted about 50–90% annual fluxes. bare zone (−0.2∼4.2 low and close those pelagic...
Few studies have investigated the association between exposure to fine particulate matter (PM2.5) and infant mortality in developing countries, especially for health effects of specific PM2.5 constituents. We aimed examine long-term constituents with 15 African countries from 2005 2015.Based on Demographic Health Surveys (DHS) dataset, we included birth history records Africa conducted a multicountry cross-sectional study associations mortality. We estimated annual residential using...
Fine particulate matter (PM2.5) exposure has been reported to adversely affect birth outcomes, but the evidence is limited, particularly in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). We assessed associations between maternal PM2.5 low weight (LBW) preterm (PTB) Africa. used standard Demographic Health Surveys (DHS) data (2005–2015) from 15 Africa conduct a cross-sectional study. The study population was composed of 131,594 births with detailed information on household variables. LBW defined...
Abstract Guided by Perry and Weinstein's (1998) conceptual model of school adjustment, first‐generation Chinese‐American adolescents' adjustment was compared with that Mainland Chinese European American adolescents in two domains functioning, academic (attitudes to teacher; their sense adequacy) behavioral (depression, anxiety social stress), using the Behavioral Assessment System for Children (BASC). Results indicated reported more negative attitudes toward teachers than students, had...
In this article, surface enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) of different concentrations brilliant green (BG) on Ag nanoparticles (AgNPs) has been investigated. The results indicate that only 10-6 M BG can be detected AgNPs while as low 10-12 upon the activation by chloride ions. additional improvement detection mainly derives from increase electromagnetic field around and partially reorientation induced ions, which was proved spectra feature in two systems. Adsorption also demonstrated...
With the rapid urbanization and industrialization in China, wastewater treatment rural areas has become an increasing national concern. The selection of appropriate processes closely based on actual local status is crucial for prevention water quality deterioration China. This study presents a full year survey performances various at county level eastern China including seven three-chamber septic tanks (ST), five micro-power biological facilities (MP), constructed wetlands (CW), three...
About a decade ago Lutwak, Yang, and Zhang introduced the notion of $L_p$-projection body. More recently, Wang Leng established an $L_p$-version Petty's affine projection inequality. At same time Ludwig discovered family general bodies Haberl Schuster inequality for bodies. In this paper we establish Moreover, obtain analogous $L_p$-geominimal surface area.
Gender inequality has long been an important topic of concern. This article empirically measures whether there exists son preference and eldest in China, from the perspective individual’s educational attainment, by using data set China Family Panel Studies 2010. We find that (a) sons receive more education than daughters, gender gap for rural residents is greater urban areas; (b) regardless or noneldest sons, received significantly higher no significant difference between son’s education;...
By means of X-ray photography tests were made 224 (100 males and 124 females) volunteer Chinese adults Han nationality to study the related regular patterns superimposed projection face landmarks onto skull. On basis these tests, present article reveals from a forensic anthropology angle plane human with its Study shows that there exist strict individual identity exclusiveness in relation between The regularity displacement appears skull head at different photographic positions angles. this...
Lutwak introduced the $L_p$-difference body of a convex as Firey $L_p$-combination and its reflection at origin. In this paper, we define notion asymmetric bodies study some their properties. particular, determine extremal values volumes polars, respectively.
In this article, we define the general L p -centroid bodies, which extend notion of bodies by Lutwak and Zhang.Further, generalize two monotone inequalities Wang, Lu Leng, establish Brunn-Minkowski type dual quermassintegrals for new notion. In particular, extremal values polars are also provided.
