Abstract Endured, low‐cost, and high‐performance flexible perovskite solar cells (PSCs) featuring lightweight mechanical flexibility have attracted tremendous attention for portable power source applications. However, PSCs typically use expensive fragile indium–tin oxide as transparent anode high‐vacuum processed noble metal cathode, resulting in dramatic performance degradation after continuous bending or thermal stress. Here, all‐carbon‐electrode‐based are fabricated employing graphene...

Well dispersed single-crystalline BaTiO3 nanoparticles with controlled morphologies were synthesized using a thermohydrolysis route. The tuned from spherical to cubic upon changing the NaOH concentration under critical molar ratio of oleic acid hydrazine. Density functional theory (DFT) and molecular dynamics (MD) calculations indicated that hydrazine molecules adsorbed preferably on Ti position Ti–O terminated surface; meanwhile, tended adsorb Ba Ba–O surface. added changed formation...

In this paper, we present a graphene field effect transistor (FET) fabricated on flexible Kapton substrate using 3-D inkjet printing for use as biosensor to detect infectious organisms. Inkjet process of film is described with sheet resistance low 110 Q/sq. To suppress background noises, the biosensors are based intensity changes ac signal function biological agents' concentration. Using foodborne pathogen, Norovirus, proof-of-concept disease target, value S12 (i.e., voltage gain from source...

Breast cancer survivors (BCS) often complain of cancer-related cognitive impairment (CRCI) during and even months after completing primary treatments, particularly chemotherapy. The etiology CRCI is unknown, but associations with germline genetic polymorphisms have been reported, including Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor (BDNF) rs6265 polymorphism. current study investigated the specific BDNF CRCI.

Abstract Both genetic and environmental factors are suggested to influence overweight obesity risks. Although individual loci genes have been frequently shown be associated with body mass index (BMI), the overall interaction of these their role in BMI remains underexplored. Data were collected 90 healthy, predominately Caucasian participants (51% female) a mean age 26.00 ± 9.02 years. Whole blood samples assayed by Affymetrix GeneChip Human Genome U133 Plus 2.0 Array. We integrated analyzed...

Diarrheal diseases claim the lives of 1300 children daily, mostly in developing world. We have developed a simple lateral flow assay capable detecting E. coli and EPEC DNA RNA rapidly (<15 minutes) at point-of-need, directly from stool without nucleic acid extraction or molecular amplification. The limit detection method is 1 nM using synthetic target substrates spiked into stool. However, due to endogenous amplification 23S rRNA targets, we were able detect pea-sized (5 mg) labor-intensive...
