The improvement of habitat quality is great significance to biodiversity conservation. Irrational development activities lead the degradation and loss biodiversity, especially in arid inland areas where ecological environment fragile. MicroRNAs are emerging as important regulators of cancer-related processes. Our studies show that microRNA-9 (miR-9) is downregulated in human ovarian cancer relative to normal ovary, and overexpression miR-9 suppresses cell growth vitro. Furthermore, the 3'-UTR NF-kappaB1 mRNA found be regulated directly by miR-9, demonstrating a functionally target cells. When overexpressed cells, protein levels both suppressed, whereas inhibition results an increase expression level. Ovarian tissues...

MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are a new class of naturally occurring, small, non-coding RNAs that regulate protein-coding mRNAs by causing mRNA degradation or repressing translation. The roles miRNAs in lineage determination and proliferation, as well the localization several miRNA genes at sites translocation breakpoints deletions, have led to speculation could be important factors development maintenance neoplastic state. We showed miR-9 was downregulated human gastric adenocarcinoma. Overexpression...

MicroRNAs are a class of small noncoding RNAs that function as key regulators gene expression at the post-transcriptional level. In this study, we demonstrate miR-214 is frequently down-regulated in cervical cancer, and its reduces proliferation, migration, invasiveness cancer cells, whereas inhibiting results enhanced invasion. binds to 3'-UTR UDP-N-acetyl-α-D-galactosamine:polypeptide N-acetylgalactosaminyltransferase 7 (GALNT7), thereby repressing GALNT7 expression. Furthermore, first...

RAC1 regulates a diverse array of cellular events including migration and invasion. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) have key role in the regulation gene expression. In this study, we demonstrated that microRNA-142-3p (miR-142-3p) acted as negative regulator human RAC1. Overexpression miR-142-3p decreased mRNA protein levels. Moreover, overexpression suppressed, while blocking increased colony formation, invasion hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) cell lines (QGY-7703 SMMC-7721). without 3′untranslated region...

Skin injury affects millions of people via the uncontrolled inflammation and infection. Many cellular components including fibroblasts signaling pathways such as transforming growth factor-β (TGF-β) were activated to facilitate wound healing repair injured tissues. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) constitute a class of noncoding RNAs that post-transcriptionally regulate gene expression. Recent evidence indicates many miRNAs function as oncogenes or tumor suppressors by negatively regulating their target genes. In our previous study, using miRNA microarray analysis, we found miRNA-182 (miR-182) was significantly downregulated in human gastric adenocarcinoma tissue samples. Here, confirmed the downregulation miR-182 larger sample Overexpression suppressed...

Our study demonstrated the functions of microRNA‐7 (miR‐7) in cervical cancer. The overexpression miR‐7 cancer cell lines HeLa and C‐33A suppressed viability promoted apoptosis, whereas inhibition had opposite effects. Furthermore, an oncogene, X‐linked inhibitor apoptosis protein (XIAP), was identified as a new target miR‐7, ectopic expression XIAP rescued effects induced by cells. These results indicate that targeted downregulated oncogene to regulate effect on malignant behaviors

MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are a class of small, single-stranded, noncoding, functional RNAs. Hepatitis B virus (HBV) is an enveloped DNA with virions and subviral forms particles that lack core. It was not known whether HBV encodes miRNAs. Here, we identified HBV-encoded miRNA (called HBV-miR-3) by deep sequencing Northern blotting.
