Abstract It was demonstrated that separation of DNA fragments by a CE‐contactless conductivity detection system (CE‐CCD) could be enhanced with multiple‐wall carbon nanotubes (MWCNs) as buffer additive. For Hae III digest ΦX174 DNA, optimized MWCN concentration obtained when the above its threshold concentration, at which form network in pseudostationary phase to provide additional interaction sites. In case larger near or below enough great improvement resolution, shown 2‐Log ladder....

2-amino-1-methyl-6-phenylimidazole [4, 5-b] pyridine (PhIP) is a prevalent heterocyclic amine (HAA) found in heated processed meat. This study investigated the inhibitory impact of eight different types polyphenols containing m-dihydroxyl structure on PhIP formation through chemical model system. The structure-activity relationship and potential sites action were also analyzed. Then, mechanism inhibiting by kaempferol, naringenin quercetin was speculated UPLC-MS. Results showed that 8 kinds...

Abstract This report describes a method to simultaneously determine 11 low‐molecular‐weight (LMW) organic acids and 16 chlorinated acid herbicides within single run by portable CE system with contactless conductivity detection (CCD) in poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA)‐coated capillary. Under the optimized condition, LODs of CE‐CCD ranged from 0.056 0.270 ppm, which were better than for indirect UV (IUV) LMW or herbicides. Combined an on‐line field‐amplified sample stacking (FASS) procedure,...

A portable capillary electrophoresis (CE) system with a novel potential gradient detection (PGD) was utilized to separate DNA fragments. For the first time it demonstrated that separation of fragments in polymer solution could be detected by CE integrated PGD, limit (LOD) comparable CE-ultraviolet (UV) method. Effects buffer solution, sieving medium, and applied voltage were also investigated. The CE-PGD shows several advantages, such as simplicity, cost effectiveness, miniaturization.
