The present joint experimental and theoretical work provides in-depth understanding on the morphology structural, electronic, optical properties of ZnWO4 nanocrystals. Monoclinic nanocrystals were prepared at three different temperatures (140, 150, 160 °C) by a microwave hydrothermal method. Then, samples investigated X-ray diffraction with Rietveld refinement analysis, field-emission scanning electron microscopy, transmission electronic micro-Raman Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,...
Europium doped silver tungstates α-Ag2−3xEuxWO4(x= 0, 0.0025, 0.005, 0.0075 and 0.01 mol) were synthesized by the coprecipitation method at 90 °C for 30 minutes. PL spectra showed a broad band related to [WO6] group characteristic narrow peaks due f–f transitions of Eu3+as result efficient energy transfer from matrix.
A simple way to prepare α- and β-CoMoO4 nanorods is reported in this paper. CoMoO4xH2O nanorod precursors were obtained using the microwave-assisted hydrothermal (MAH) method. By annealing as-prepared CoMoO44xH2O precursor at 600℃ for 10 min a domestic microwave oven, prepared. These powders analyzed by X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), Fourier transform Raman ultraviolet visible absorption spectroscopy (UV-vis spectra) as well photoluminescence...
In this article, the structural refinement, morphology and optical properties of barium strontium molybdate [(Ba 1− x Sr )MoO 4 with = 0, 0.25, 0.50, 0.75 1] crystals, synthesized by co-precipitation (drop-by-drop) method, are reported. The crystals obtained were structurally characterized X-ray diffraction (XRD), Rietveld Fourier transform–Raman (FT–Raman) transform–infrared (FT–IR) spectroscopies. shapes observed means field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM). investigated...
A theoretical study was elaborated to support the experimental results of Zn-doped α-Ag2WO4. Theses α-Ag2–2xZnxWO4 (0 ≤ x 0.25) solid solutions were obtained by coprecipitation method. X-ray diffraction data indicated that all microcrystals presented an orthorhombic structure. The values micro-Raman frequencies in reasonable agreement with both previously reported and calculated results. Microscopy images showed replacement Ag+ Zn2+ promoted a reduction average crystal size modifications...
In the current COVID-19 pandemic, next generation of innovative materials with enhanced anti-SARS-CoV-2 activity is urgently needed to prevent spread this virus within community. Herein, we report synthesis chitosan/α-Ag2WO4 composites synthetized by femtosecond laser irradiation. The antimicrobial against Escherichia coli, Methicilin-susceptible Staphylococcus aureus (MSSA), and Candida albicans was determined estimating minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) minimal bactericidal/fungicidal...
In this paper, we report the obtention of gadolinium oxide doped with europium (Gd2O3:Eu+3) by thermal decomposition Gd(OH)3:Eu3+ precursor prepared microwave assisted hydrothermal method. These systems were analyzed thermalgravimetric analyses (TGA/DTA), X-ray diffraction (XRD), structural Rietveld refinement method, fourrier transmission infrared absorbance spectroscopy (FT-IR), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) and photoluminescence (PL) measurement. XRD patterns,...
Here, an experimental study is presented on the structural, electronic, and optical properties of Bi2-xMoO6:xEu3+ (x = 0, 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, 4.0 mol%) materials, synthesized by means microwave-assisted solvothermal method using ethylene glycol as a solvent. Different characterization techniques (X-ray diffraction measurements with Rietveld refinements, Raman ultraviolet–visible diffuse reflectance spectroscopy, field emission scanning electron microscopy, photoluminescence emissions) have been...
In this paper, we report the synthesis of silver selenite (Ag2SeO3) by different methods [sonochemistry, ultrasonic probe, coprecipitation, and microwave-assisted hydrothermal methods]. These microcrystals presented a structural long-range order as confirmed X-ray diffraction (XRD) Rietveld refinements short-range Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) Raman spectroscopies. photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) provided information about surface samples indicating that they were pure. The morphologies...
PHENYLSILICATE DOPED WITH Eu III OBTAINED BY SOL-GEL METHODOLOGY.In this work, we report the synthesis and photoluminescence features of a Eu(III)-doped modified silica matrix obtained by sol-gel method. The was prepared reaction between tetraethylorthosilicate phenyltriethoxysilane alkoxide. The hydrolysis occurred using basic catalysis. The solids were treated at 100, 200 300 o C during 4 h structure determined thermogravimetric analysis (TG/DTG), nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR 29 Si 13 C),...
A systematic theoretical and experimental study was carried out to find a relationship between photoluminescence emissions photocatalytic activity of Ag2SeO4 obtained by different synthesis methods (sonochemistry, ultrasonic probe, coprecipitation microwave assisted hydrothermal synthesis). Experimental characterization techniques (XRD with Rietveld refinement, Raman, FTIR, UV-vis, XPS spectroscopy) were used elucidate its structural order at short, medium, long ranges. Morphological...
