Industrial wastewater often consists of toxic chemicals and pollutants, which are extremely harmful to the environment. Heavy metals considered one major hazards aquatic ecosystem. Analytical techniques, such as potentiometric methods, some methods detect heavy in wastewaters. In this work, quantitative structure–property relationship (QSPR) was applied using a range machine learning techniques predict stability constant (logβML) sensitivity (PSML) 200 ligands complexes with metal ions Cu2+,...
Mangrove plant endophytic bacteria are prolific sources of bioactive secondary metabolites. In the present study, twenty-three were isolated from fresh roots mangrove Rhizophora apiculata. The identification isolates by 16S rRNA gene sequences revealed that belonged to nine genera, including Streptomyces, Bacillus, Pseudovibrio, Microbacterium, Brevibacterium, Microbulbifer, Micrococcus, Rossellomorea, and Paracoccus. ethyl acetate extracts bacteria’s pharmacological properties evaluated in...
A new ursane-type triterpene, 3β,23,24-trihydroxyurs-12-en-28-oic acid (1), together with eight known compounds (2-9) were isolated from the aerial parts of Ophiorrhiza baviensis. Among them, 2-5 found for first time genus Ophiorrhiza, while 6-9 reported O. baviensis time. Their structures elucidated by analysis HR-ESI-MS and NMR (1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, HSQC, HMBC) spectra, as well comparison those in literature. Moreover, all evaluated their cytotoxic activities against MCF-7, Hela, KB, A549,...
A new steroidal saponin, torvoside R (1), was isolated along with Q (2) and macaoside (3) from dichloromethane soluble-portion of the aerial parts Solanum torvum. Their chemical structures were elucidated using HRESIMS, 1 D- 2 D-NMR as well comparison those reported in literature. All compounds (1 - 3) exhibited cytotoxicity against SK-LU-1, HepG2, MCF-7, T24 cancer cell lines IC50 values ranging 14.18 to 89.31 µg/mL.
In this study, chemical components, α-glucosidase inhibitory activities, and molecular modelling studies of the essential oil extracted from Cleistocalyx operculatus leaves were investigated. total, thirty compounds identified using GC/MS, representing 98.3% oil. Of these, two most dominant constituents determined as (Z)-β-ocimene (30.4%) allo-ocimene (31.6%). The experiments indicated that exhibited potent with IC50 values 61.82 ± 3.91 µg/mL.
