This Report summarises the results of second year's activities LHC Higgs Cross Section Working Group. The main goal working group was to present state art Physics at LHC, integrating all new that have appeared in last few years. first report Handbook Sections: 1. Inclusive Observables (CERN-2011-002) focuses on predictions (central values and errors) for total production cross sections branching ratios Standard Model its minimal supersymmetric extension, covering also related issues such as...

The electric dipole moments~(EDM) of fundamental particles inherently violate parity~(P) and time-reversal~(T) symmetries. By virtue the CPT theorem in quantum field theory, latter also implies violation combined charge-conjugation parity~(CP) symmetry. We aim to measure EDM muon using frozen-spin technique within a compact storage trap. This method exploits high effective field, \$E \approx 165\$ MV/m, experienced rest frame with momentum about 23 MeV/c when it passes through solenoidal...

Abstract The Muon g -2 Experiment at Fermilab uses a gaseous straw tracking detector to make detailed measurements of the stored muon beam profile, which are essential for experiment achieve its uncertainty goals. Positrons from decays spiral inward and pass through before striking an electromagnetic calorimeter. is therefore located inside vacuum chamber in region where magnetic field large non-uniform. As such, must have low leak rate maintain high-quality vacuum, be non-magnetic so as not...
