COVID-19 is caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), which infected >200 million people resulting in >4 deaths. However, temporal landscape of the SARS-CoV-2 translatome and its impact on human genome remain unexplored. Here, we report a high-resolution atlas transcriptome for various time points after infecting cells. Intriguingly, substantial amount translation initiates at novel initiation site (TIS) located leader sequence, termed TIS-L. Since TIS-L...
Abstract An RNA structure or modified sequences can provide a platform for ribosome loading and internal translation initiation. The functional significance of has recently been highlighted by the discovery that subset circular RNAs (circRNAs) is internally translated. However, molecular mechanisms underlying initiation in circRNAs remain unclear. Here, we identify eIF3g (a subunit eIF3 complex) as binding partner eIF4A3, core component exon-junction complex (EJC) deposited onto spliced...
Zeaxanthin is a xanthophyll pigment that regarded as one of the best carotenoids for prevention and treatment degenerative diseases. In worldwide natural products market, consumers prefer pigments have been produced from biological sources. this study, Dunaliella tertiolecta strain has 10-15% higher cellular zeaxanthin content than parent (zea1), was obtained by random mutagenesis using ethyl methanesulfonate (EMS) mutagen. This mutant, mp3, grown under various salinities light intensities...
Abstract We report a novel transcriptomic analysis workflow called LiEB (Life cycle of Epstein-Barr virus) to characterize distributions oncogenic virus, virus (EBV) infection in human tumors. analyzed 851 The Cancer Genome Atlas whole-transcriptome sequencing (WTS) data investigate EBV by life information using three-step workflow: 1) generally; 2) align transcriptome sequences against hybrid human-EBV genome, and 3) quantify gene expression. Our results agreed with status public cell line...
Abstract The detection of somatic DNA variants in tumor samples with low purity or sequencing depth remains a daunting challenge despite numerous attempts to address this problem. In study, we constructed substantially extended set actual positive originating from wide range purities and depths, as well negative derived sequencer-specific errors. A deep learning model named AIVariant, trained on dataset, outperforms previously reported methods when tested under various especially depth.
