High-resolution continuum source molecular absorption of the calcium mono-fluoride molecule CaF in a graphite furnace has been used to determine fluorine tea after acid digestion, alkaline solubilization and preparation conventional aqueous infusion. The strongest 'line' is at 606.440 nm, which part rotational fine structure X(2)Σ(+)-A(2)Π electronic transition; it bond dissociation energy 529 kJ mol(-1), comparable with other molecules for determination. One advantage using Ca as...
The application of computer-aided drug discovery (CADD) approaches has enabled the new antimicrobial therapeutic agents in past. high prevalence methicillin-resistantStaphylococcus aureus(MRSA) strains promoted this pathogen to a high-priority for development. In sense, modern CADD techniques can be valuable tools search agents. We employed combination series machine learning (ML) select and evaluate potential compounds with antibacterial activity against methicillin-susceptible S. aureus...
We describe herein the design and synthesis of N-phenyl phthalimide derivatives with inhibitory activities against Plasmodium falciparum (sensitive resistant strains) in low micromolar range noticeable selectivity indices human cells. The best inhibitor, 4-amino-2-(4-methoxyphenyl)isoindoline-1,3-dione (10), showed a slow-acting mechanism similar to that atovaquone. Enzymatic assay indicated 10 inhibited P. cytochrome bc1 complex. Molecular docking studies suggested binding mode hit Qo site...
Aim: Antibiotic resistance is an alarming issue, as multidrug-resistant bacteria are growing worldwide, hence the decrease of therapeutic potential available antibiotic arsenal. Among these bacteria, Staphylococcus aureus was pointed by WHO in pathogens list to be prioritized drug development. Methods: We report use chemical similarity models for virtual screening new antibacterial with structural known inhibitors FabI. The were experimentally evaluated activity and membrane disrupting...
A straightforward methodology for deacetylation of protected ribonucleosides was developed based on triethylamine-catalyzed solvolysis in aqueous methanol. Reactions are completed a few minutes under microwave irradiation and the free nucleosides obtained high yield after simple evaporation volatiles. Other important features include involvement readily available reagents compatibility with diverse functional groups, which make this process very attractive broad application.
Abstract Natural products are a valuable source of biologically active compounds and continue to play an important role in modern drug discovery due their great structural diversity unique biological properties. Brazilian biodiversity is one the most extensive world could be effective new chemical entities for discovery. Mosquitoes vectors transmission dengue, Zika, chikungunya, yellow fever, many other diseases public health importance. These have major impact on tropical subtropical...
In this paper we present the RMCriteria package to support decision making system in R software environment for statistical computing and graphics. The is a that implements all PROMETHEE family methods also graphical sensitivity analysis assisting analysts make their own process facilitating of decisions.
Cellulose synthesized by bacteria has unique properties such as high water retention capacity, biocompatibility, biodegradability and flexibility. Nevertheless, modification of this biomaterial is required in order to obtain multifunctional materials, which may be applied several high-value added products, catalytic cell culture platforms. The surface bacterial cellulose (BC) can modified approaches, namely: (i) physical treatment plasma, (ii) adsorption molecules onto BC surface, (iii)...
In this article, we studied 13 parametric CAViaR models for 27 stock's indices concerning the bias-variance dilemma, providing an empirical golden rule choosing structure over unknown information distributional features of financial data. Our findings pointed out that adaptive model should be chosen when no prior is available since it presented smallest MSE in 23 assets. Furthermore, also noted most cases, overestimate validation value-at-risk. This might not troublesome from a regulators'...
Isomigrastatin (1) was first isolated in 2002 from cultures of Streptomyces platensis (strain NRRL 18993) by Kosan Biosciences researchers (Figure 1). This natural product belongs to the glutarimide polyketide family and it is a precursor migrastatin its biosynthetic pathway. Recently, our group developed an approach for synthesis macrolactone analogues. Regarding biological importance these skeletons taking into consideration that isomigrastatin analogues have not been explored yet, we...
