Abstract Summary: Genomes of more than 60 fungal species have been sequenced to date, yet there has no systematic approach analyze transcription factors (TFs) kingdom widely. We developed a standardized pipeline for annotating TFs in genomes. Resulting data archived new database termed the Fungal Transcription Factor Database (FTFD). In FTFD, 31 832 putative TFs, identified from 62 and 3 Oomycete species, were classified into 61 families phylogenetically analyzed. The FTFD will serve as...

We herein propose a polymeric nanovehicle system that has the ability to remarkably improve cellular uptake and transdermal delivery. Cell-penetrating peptide-patchy deformable nanovehicles were fabricated by tailored coassembly of amphiphilic poly(ethylene oxide)-block-poly(ε-caprolactone) (PEO-b-PCL), mannosylerythritol lipid (MEL), YGRKKRRQRRR-cysteamine (TAT)-linked MEL. Using X-ray diffraction, differential scanning calorimetry, nuclear magnetic resonance analyses, we revealed...

The serotonin 2C receptor subtype (5-HT2C) is an excitatory 5-HT widely distributed throughout the central nervous system. As 5-HT2C displays multiple actions on various neurotransmitter systems including glutamate, dopamine, epinephrine, and γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA), abnormalities of are associated with psychiatric diseases such as depression, schizophrenia, drug abuse, anxiety. Up to date, three kinds PET radiotracers [11C]N-methylated arylazepine (1), [11C]WAY-163909 (2),...

As a Korean endemic plant, Salix koriyanagi Kimura ex Goerz belongs to the genus L. which is largest of Salicaceae. In this study, we presented complete chloroplast genome S. 155,707 bp and has four sub-regions: 84,484 large single copy (LSC) 16,125 small (SSC) regions are separated by 27,549 inverted repeat (IR) including 130 genes (83 coding regions, 8 rRNAs, 38 tRNAs). The overall GC contents were 36.7% in LSC, SSC, IR 34.4%, 31.00%, 41.8%, respectively. A phylogenetic analysis showed...

Rapid and accurate detection of carbapenemase-producing Enterobacteriaceae (CPE) is critical for appropriate treatment infection control. We compared a rapid fluorogenic assay using carbapenem-based probe with other phenotypic assays: modified carbapenem inactivation method (mCIM), Carba NP test (CNP), carbapenemase inhibition (CIT).

Abstract Background: The cGAS-STING signaling pathway has led to significant anti-cancer innate immune responses in cancer immunotherapy. 2’3’-cGAMP binds STING and promotes the production of various pro-inflammatory cytokines such as type I interferon, which changes cold tumors hot through modulating tumor microenvironment. Therefore, activation been considered an important target for Ecto-Nucleotide Pyrophosphatase/Phosphodiesterases 1 (ENPP1), highly expressed membrane-bound enzyme cells,...

A transition‐metal‐free and regioselective synthesis of a series 2‐amino‐4‐alkoxypyrimidines is described. The S N Ar alkoxylation 2,4‐dichloropyrimidines regioselectively provided 2‐chloro‐4‐alkoxypyrimidines, which were subsequently subject to the second amination with cyclic amines in presence triethylamine at high temperature afford good overall yield.

Here, we describe the synthesis of disubstituted pyrimidine derivatives and their biological evaluation as selective 5-HT2C agonists. To improve selectivity for over other subtypes, synthesized two series pyrimidines with fluorophenylalkoxy groups at either 5-position or 4-position varying cyclic amines 2-position. The in vitro cell-based assay binding identified compounds 10a 10f potent Further studies on to 5-HT subtypes drug-like properties indicated that 2,4-disubstituted showed a highly...
