An efficient one-pot, three-component method for the preparation of indeno[1,2-b]quinoline-9,11(6H,10H)-dione, acridine-1,8(2H,5H)-dione and various multi-substituted quinoline-3-carbonitrile derivatives has been developed through Michael addition to enaminones, which was achieved by both microwave irradiation conventional heating.
A facile and selective synthesis of N-substituted 2-aminopyridines is accomplished via microwave-assisted multi-component reactions controlled by the basicity amine nature solvent. In addition, a possible mechanism accounting for reaction was proposed.

We successfully extend the standard Fibonacci zone plates with two on-axis foci to generalized photon sieves (GFiPS) multiple foci. also propose direct and inverse design methods based on characteristic roots of recursion relation sequences.
