Penetration testing is a crucial defense against common Web application security threats such as SQL injection and cross-site scripting attacks. A proposed vulnerability scanner automatically generates test data with combinative evasion techniques, significantly expanding coverage revealing more vulnerabilities.
Abstract In this paper, we find new evidence for the carbon futures volatility prediction by using spillovers of fossil energy returns as a powerful predictor. The in‐sample results show that have significantly positive effect on volatility. From out‐of‐sample analysis with various loss functions, return outperform benchmark and better forecasting performance than competing models dimension reduction, variable selection, combination approaches. predictive ability also holds in long‐term does...
Objectives: Older adults often complain of difficulty in communicating noisy environments. Contextual information is considered an important cue for identifying everyday speech. To date, it has not been clear exactly how context use (CU) and reliance on older are affected by hearing status cognitive function. The present study examined the effects semantic performance speech recognition, recall, perceived listening effort (LE), noise tolerance, further explored impacts loss working memory...
Abstract Immunocytokines hold great potential as anticancer agents, they use a specific antitumor antibody to deliver an immune-activating cytokine directly the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment (TME). We have developed novel immunocytokine (KD033) composed of fully human, high-affinity antiprogrammed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) linked sushi-domain human IL-15/IL-15 receptor alpha (IL-15/IL-15Rα) complex. A murine PD-L1 cross-reactive KD033 surrogate (srKD033) and nontargeting (ntKD033)...
The carbon market is regarded as one of the important means to achieve China's dual target. It has ancillary effect for reducing air pollution while regulating emissions since climate change and share same origin homology. Research on how design mechanism in order maximize synergistic greenhouse gas will have a very practical impact China. This study conducts theoretical analysis collaborative emission reduction path market, constructs an Energy-Economy-Environment (3E) model trading system...
Abstract Unilateral aural stimulation has been shown to cause massive cortical reorganization in brain with congenital deafness, particularly during the sensitive period of development. However, it is unclear which side provides most advantages for auditory The left hemisphere dominance speech and linguistic processing normal hearing adult led assumption functional developmental right over implantation, but existing evidence controversial. To test this provide clinical choice, we examined 34...
Emotional expressions are very important in social interactions. Children with cochlear implants can have voice emotion recognition deficits due to device limitations. Mandarin-speaking children may face greater challenges than those speaking nontonal languages; the pitch information is not well preserved implants, and such could benefit from child-directed speech, which carries more exaggerated distinctive acoustic cues for different emotions. This study investigated recognition, using both...
Purpose To elucidate how aging would affect the extent of semantic context use and reliance on measured with Repeat–Recall Test (RRT). Methods A younger adult group (YA) aged between 18 25 an older (OA) 50 65 were recruited. Participants from both groups performed RRT: sentence repeat delayed recall tasks, subjective listening effort noise tolerable time, under two types seven signal-to-noise ratios (SNR). Performance–Intensity curves fitted. The performance in SRT50 SRT75 was predicted....
Photoneutron background spectroscopy observations at linac are essential for directing accelerator shielding and subtracting signals. Therefore, we constructed a Bonner Sphere Spectrometer (BSS) system based on an array of BF3 gas proportional counter tubes. Initially, the response BSS was simulated using MCNP5 code. Next, calibrated by neutrons with energies 2.86 MeV 14.84 MeV. Then, employed to measure spectrum 241Am–Be neutron source, results were unfolded Gravel EM algorithms. Using...
Purpose The aim of the study was to assess whether sequential cochlear implantation (CI) with a prolonged interimplant interval (M = 15.2 years) between first and second CIs benefited speech recognition health-related quality life. Method This prospective included 14 prelingually deafened participants who received their CI after years). Additionally, ability over 12-month period bilateral implant use investigated. results test in both quiet noisy conditions were statistically analyzed for...
Detailed description of the mechanism action therapeutic antibodies is essential for functional characterization and future optimization potential clinical agents. We recently developed KD035, a fully human antibody targeting vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2 (VEGFR2). KD035 blocked VEGF-A, VEGF-C-mediated VEGFR2 activation, as demonstrated by in vitro binding competition assays cellular assays. Here, we report computational model complex between variable fragment (KD035(Fv))...
Abstract In this paper, we show that industry volatility concentration is a strong predictor for aggregate stock market returns. Our monthly (IVC) index displays significant predictive ability, with in‐sample and out‐of‐sample R 2 statistics of 0.686% 0.712%, respectively, which outperforms host prevailing return predictors. Moreover, the IVC can generate high utility gains 143.8 basis points above historical average benchmark mean–variance investors. We find countercyclical. Furthermore,...
Abstract This study evaluates the antimicrobial efficacy of frog skin-derived peptides Magainin 1, 2, and Bombesin against Bacillus subtilis, Escherichia coli, Trichoderma harzianum . Experimental setups involved uniform inoculation microorganisms on 20 mL agar plates, treated with varying volumes (1.5 µL, 5 10 µL) each peptide (10 mg/mL). For subtilis , demonstrated significant antibacterial activity, inhibition zones increasing in size proportionally to volumes. 2 showed highest efficacy,...
