Metal-free molecular redox-mediated electro-dialytic desalination has been presented, which can directly desalt high concentration of feed (5860 ppm) to the drinking water level (136 during a continuous single batch treatment. The removal efficiency is up 97.7%.

An aqueous chloride ion battery (CIB) is an emerging technology for electrochemical energy storage as well desalination systems. However, the instability and decomposition of electrode materials in medium a major issue CIBs. Herein, one step, we synthesized fine antimony nanoparticles with size ∼20 nm on reduced graphene oxide (Sb@rGO) sheets using hydrothermal route facile cost-effective processes. It proposed new anode material coupled AgCl cathode CIB. The specific capacity maintained...

Multimode stimuli-regulated propulsions are extremely useful for artificial micro-/nanomotors in performing specialized tasks different microscopic environments. However, it is still a great challenge to develop simple and efficient micro/nanosystem which can operate complicated environments, either with fuel or without fuel. Here, we report novel hybrid micromotor only needs one metal special structure: micro-spherical shell hole. Since attractively combine the inherently catalytic...

Abstract Ciliates are single‐cell eukaryotes playing important roles in various ecosystems. Phylogenetic relationships within Hypotricha, one of the most polymorphic and highly derived ciliate groups, remain uncertain. Previous studies suggested that low genetic divergence might be reason for poorly supported SSU rDNA tree topologies, despite high morphological diversity this group. In study, we substantially increase number available hypotrich LSU gene sequences by addition 857...

Although phylogenomic analyses are increasingly used to reveal evolutionary relationships among ciliates, relatively few nuclear protein-coding gene markers have been tested for their suitability as candidates inferring phylogenies within this group. In study, we investigate the utility of heat-shock protein 90 (Hsp90) a marker phylogenetic hypotrich ciliates.A total 87 novel Hsp90 sequences 10 species were generated. Of these, 85 distinct sequences. Phylogenetic based on these data showed...
