This study is aimed at investigating the effect of different exercise loads on reproductive function obese male mice and underlying mechanisms. Male with high-fat diet-induced obesity were divided into control (OC), moderate-load (OME), high-load (OHE) groups. The OME OHE groups subjected to swimming 5 days per week over a duration 8 weeks, load progressively increased 2 h day in group twice group. In OC without regimen, we observed decrease mRNA expression antioxidant enzymes, increase free...
Exercise can increase skeletal muscle sensitivity to insulin, improve insulin resistance and regulate glucose homeostasis in rat models of type 2 diabetes. However, the potential mechanism remains poorly understood. In this study, we established a male Sprague–Dawley model diabetes, with β cell dysfunction, which was induced by high-fat diet low-dose streptozotocin replicate pathogenesis metabolic characteristics diabetes humans. We also investigated possible chronic acute exercise improves...
To investigate the effects of acute and chronic exercise on glucose lipid metabolism in liver rats with type 2 diabetes caused by a high fat diet low dose streptozotocin (STZ). Animals were classified into control (CON), (DC), diabetic (DCE), (DAE) groups. Compared to CON, leptin levels serum ACC phosphorylation significantly higher DC, but receptor, AMPK α 1/2, 1, proteins expression lower DC. In addition, glycogen reduced significantly, TG FFA increased DC compared CON. 2, DCE DAE....
Abstract Background Energy balance is closely related to reproductive function, wherein hypothalamic kisspeptin mediates regulation of the energy balance. However, central mechanism in male function under different states unclear. Here, high-fat diet (HFD) and exercise were used change explore role leptin inflammation hypothalamic-pituitary-testis (HPT) axis. Methods Four-week-old C57BL/6 J mice randomly assigned a normal control group ( n = 16) or an HFD 49) group. After 10 weeks feeding,...
Adipocytes regulate the body’s metabolism by secreting adipokines to maintain energy homeostasis. Asprosin is a new type of adipokine, and its relationship with obesity remains controversial. There are few reports on effect long-term exercise serum asprosin level. This study aimed investigate effects body mass index (BMI) exercise/sedentary habit in male college students as well between composition related metabolic indicators provided basis for further exploration biological function...
Background Obesity is a growing problem worldwide, and newer therapeutic strategies to combat it are urgently required. This study aimed analyze the effect of diet exercise interventions on energy balance in mice elucidate mechanism peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-gamma co-activator-1-alpha-IRISIN-uncoupling protein-1 (PGC-1α-IRISIN-UCP-1) pathway beigeization white adipose tissue. Methods Four-week-old male C57BL/6 were randomly divided into normal (NC) high-fat (HFD) groups....
Aims: Adiponectin stimulates mitochondrial biogenesis through peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-coactivator1α (PGC-1α), a major regulator of biogenesis, and its effect on the genesis insulin resistance is organ-specific. Expressed predominantly in fat liver tissues, betatrophin primarily involved lipid metabolism, could be putative therapeutic target metabolic syndrome T2D. We hypothesized that adiponectin pathway may regulate production and/or secretion liver. aimed to determine...
To study the effects of acute and chronic exercise on phosphatidylinositol 3-hydroxy kinase(PI3K)/protein kinase B(AKT)/glucose transporter 4(GLUT4)signaling pathway in adipose tissue rats with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) induced by high-fat diet low-dose streptozotocin (STZ).A total 52 SD male aged 15 months were randomly divided into normal control group (13) (39), fed high fat diets. After 8 weeks, body weight was higher 20% than that group. a small dose STZ, blood glucose level >16.7...
With the shrink of critical dimensions semiconductor devices to a few nanometers, atomic layer etching (ALE) has become an important technique achieve single-atom resolution. The ALE can divide plasma into two self-limiting reaction processes: passivation process and process, allowing for sequential removal material by layer. Therefore, it encounters problem low etch rate. In this work, variation in surface substance coverage during are investigated numerically optimize both duration...
